Syncing

Anyone else have some crazy sync issues happening? I went to reauthor this and after syncing the first line, the next one is off by nearly a minute. In something that's probably related, the time codes in the .txt files appear to be pretty much worthless. I'm almost positive there's only one version of this movie and I have a hard time imagining that I managed to rip a complete audio file from the disc while it skipped parts. In short, what am I missing here?

Could be that you're using the PAL riff version and from an NTSC DVD or vice versa.  I haven't tried this particular riff yet, but what you're describing happened to me a couple times.

I just finished my sync and had no issues what so ever. In fact one of the easiest syncs I have done. Every sync line was exactly where the readme said they were.

Yeah, if you've got VLC, try playing the folder that it was ripped to. If it's looking good there, chances are something's up with the downloaded Riff .

Playing mine with a MP3 player it seemed off alot. usually once I get it started it is perfect. This seemed to drift a bit here and there.

The only thing I noticed was that lining up the sync lines seemed to put the riffs very slightly too early.

Thanks for the help all. I double checked and I didn't get the PAL version, but that made a lot of sense. So I reripped everything and redownloaded the riff. Syncs great now so I have no idea what went wrong, but I guess it doesn't matter now.
