The management here is great, I'm sure they will try to keep some of the free agents but there are so many this winter that it's going to be hard to keep them if other teams offer loads of cash.

Marty, what's the chatter in Philly regarding Rollins' free agency? Is there anyway you pony up and give him the 5-years he's wanting, or will you guys become a suitor for Reyes?

There is no chatter, only rumor floating around is that they might be willing to give him a 3 year deal.

It's amazing how well they keep this stuff secret in Philly, remember the Cliff Lee Deal?  No one had any idea we were even talking to him until a few rumors at the last minute, and most people dismissed those as crazy.

This series is turning out to be one for the ages. Good stuff!

yea i think this is the first world series where the game of telephone was played simultaneously with baseball.

This generation now has its 1975 World Series Game 6.

Only with a few more fielding foibles and mystifying managerial machinations.  But it's a curious fact that spotty fielding and questionable managing don't negate a great game.

What a great way to stay up way too late on a weeknight.  And they're doing it again tonight!

Ugh The game gave me Ulcers! But you can tell that both teams really really want it. Texas wants it more though, so they will win the whole shebang

My sister and brother in law were at  game 6 and they are still wired.

Game 7s............needless to say, quite anxious for the game.

Why are you so anxious for your team to lose?

It's a shame that one of these teams has to lose tonight.

I'd pay $100 if someone would force McCarver to shut up!!!!!!

MartyS (Gromit)

Yeah, I can't listen to the guys on FOX, I've got the gameday audio feed streaming on the computer, listening to the Cardinal's broadcasters.

Bob

First of all, congrats to the Rangers.   They have good , classy players and will be good for a long time.

This has been the most intense two months of baseball in all my life.   Cardinals have been in " must win" mode sice late August.   EVERY game for me was beyond nerve wracking and I think I got OCD keeping all my gameday rituals.    I am not exaggerating.

I am thrilled beyond words.

Glad it was a good WS for the average fan.

I'm confused, isn't the closer supposed to dance around the field in his underwear with an empty beer case on his head? #papelbon
