Check out the extras for the upcoming blu-ray: http://www.fandompost.com/2011/05/04/star-wars-blu-ray-extras-detailed/

QuoteAnatomy of a Dewback (1997, Color, Apx. 26 Minutes) – See how some of the special effects in Star Wars became even more special two decades later! George Lucas explains and demonstrates how his team transformed the original dewback creatures from immovable rubber puppets (in the original 1977 release) to seemingly living, breathing creatures for the Star Wars 1997 Special Edition update.

Wow, a feature on how Lucas shat on the original material! Exciting!

I'd be more interested if they had Mr. Plinkett's reviews as an extra.
"Don't make me shoot you...CROOOOOOOOOW!"

:D Even though I can't stand Mr. plinkett's reviews, I think this would be an excellent idea. It would be a good counter alongside all the fan videos kissing Lucas' ass.

Really, the only extra I wanted (aside from the unaltered theatrical editions), was a commentary with Mark Hamill and hopefully Harrison Ford. I really don't care what Carrie Fisher has to say, and she even admits in the commentary that she doesn't remember much from the filming! Why was she included and Hamill not?!

I don't know why *they* chose Fisher over Hamill, but I know why I would: because Hamill says things like this, but Fisher says things like THIS.
