The suit looks like it's made out of lawn furniture webbing.

I guess he's the Man of Steel-Belted Radials.
He's thinking about the environment. His suit is made from recycled old tires.

He can't do that and stand for the American way.

Tripe

For that his suit needs to be Styrofoam.

Actually it could be, looking at the pic.

I am thinking that NASCAR now owns him and he will have a race named after him...........but he will have to wave the racing flags all race.

the suit looks like its made from some generic Payless shoe treads.

I was bieng threated with death by wolf raping before it was cool!.

For the longest time I wondered why the outfits of superheroes are getting textured to such an unbelievable extent, then I realize that it's because they want to prove the difference between SD and HD TV's so more people will go out and buy them.

So the audience had zero reaction to the trailer.  No cheering, no hoping, no clapping.  Not even that moment of anticipation when you first realize what movie this is for.  Nothing.  It was a real life Meh if I've ever seen one.
I'm all out for kicks...and every inch of me spells EXCITEMENT!

Maybe that was because the trailer was pretty meh to begin with. I wasn't the least bit interested... and is there a reason why the damn music sounded like it was from Lord of the rings?! I swear to Christ that's how it sounded to me! WTF does Superman have to do with lord of the rings? Other than of course if you say Superman's name really fast it sounds like you're saying "Sauron"?

Mine had a bit of a reaction, but at this point we were just really eager to see the movie start. Also, since the trailer opened with the Legendary Films/DC logo (and no This Movie Has Not Yet Been Rated screen), plenty of folks thought the movie itself was starting, and cheered. There was a bit of a bitter disappointment when it proved to just be another trailer.

Did one guy give a single cough.  Was there an audible cricket between that trailer and the next?

There was a bit of a reaction to the trailer, but not what I would have expected.  Hell, the Raimi "Oz" trailer got a bigger reaction from the crowd at my theater.

Methinks this film has a big hurdle to climb over, that being the turd that was Superman Returns.

gojikranz

everyone in the theater at first thought it was the movie then everyone got mad that they were using lord of the rings music (no joke people were like what the hell is lord of the rings music doing here)  then we figured it out and there was smattered applause nothing huge.

Will someone please tell me why they used music that sounded like it was from Lord of the rings in the Man of Steel trailer?
