With regard to Post Counts displayed on the forum.

I honestly don't mind which way the forum goes here, as I can see it perhaps becoming a little intimidating for some new people to see us guys with thousands of posts, but it's also a fun way to gauge someone's level of activity in the forum.

I think what we have is a Forum that's really gotten to know each other. We've been posting together and sharing opinions and that's made us want to find out more and so more discussion is taking place. . This is a fun community and I don't see any problems with it.

I totally agree with you Pak, this is easily the coolest, friendliest, and most fun message board community I have ever posted on. Heck just two days ago I was in Orlando and met Groucho at a bar with some friends randomly. I mean I would never do that on any other board I visit....

I like having the post count displayed.  And I think getting rid of the post count wouldn't cut down on useless posts, which I don't really think is a problem here anyways.  Did you know that at rottentomatoes dot com they have an "Increase Your Post Count" thread?  And it's hundreds of pages long?  And now they've shortened it to "the IYPC club".  Now that's an example of it getting out of hand. I think we're OK here. 

It's an internet forum.  I wouldn't sweat it.

I, too, think the board is going to be as wacky and off topic as it with or without the post count. 

I think the ones with the highest "post count" are the ones who actually contribute the most to the board and henceforth, they earned the post count with lots of real posts.

Although, if you guys are really worried about it, it wouldn't bother me to not have it...just don't take the monster trucks away.
