I've started my own video recap series with a focus on musicals.  While I'll be poking fun at all of them; they will not all be terrible.  There will be some that I think are fantastic, but everything can use a little ribbing.

The first one is Rent and there are some images that are mildly NSFW (assuming black bikini's are NSFW) and there is strong language.

That said, here's the link http://www.crosstawk.com/newbusiness/category/thoroughly-manly-musicals. (The site belongs to a friend, and he's kind enough to have offered to be the flagship).

Any feedback--constructive or otherwise--is appreciated!

Thanks!

It's funny you should post this today because I happened to catch some of "Paint Your Wagon" with Clint Eastwood and Lee Marvin earlier.

I really liked that review. Very well done. And I gotta say, I couldn't stand more than twenty minutes of this horrible movie when my frined tried to get me to watch it. UGH!

Hey, if you want to review a GREAT musical, review Nightmare Before Christmas.

Thanks, Darth!

As for Paint Your Wagon and Nightmare Before Christmas, they are most definitely on the list and I look forward to hitting both.

Now, to get back to work...

If Courtney ever sees your review you might be a dead man, however good work. :)

I think I need to dance this out while singing La Vie Boheme.

I do wish you could choose to have a different ad run before your reviews though. Lord how I hate those Mobile phone ones featuring the "Indian" guys.

YES! They are so annoying and not only unfunny, but give me the feeling like it should be offensive.

I've been getting the Blackberry and the silent Samsung ads through Blip, lately, so I guess I should consider myself lucky.

Otherwise, here's another new one:  The 1975 Ken Russell masterpiece (irony-alert) Tommy
