I also think it could help expand the customer base. The events I've gone to are always well-attended, but I've not seen any sign that the audiences are anything other than either hard-core MSTies and/or people who already knew about RiffTrax.

Ideas on how to do this? We have some ideas cooked up but for us this has always been the hardest part. Pretty sure we've tapped as many MSTies as possible; at least, the ones who are always on the Internet. Casual TV-only viewers haven't all heard of us - you can tell by the number of people that discover us for the first time every day.

Too bad this guy is in jail or you could have him don a Rifftrax shirt and show up at sporting events.

Bob

Or, if you dont want to be associated with guys serving life terms in jail, you could get Krazy George to advertize at sporting events.

Bob

Or if you cannot afford Krazy George, how about Krazy RVR II?

Maybe you could work something out with Netflix to add a Rifftrax recommendation to the pages of riffed movies? Just a thought.

I'm pretty sure those recommendations are created mathematically. Perhaps not enough people are renting our discs from them? Not entirely sure.

I meant something along the lines of a link to Rifftrax when someone visits the page of a movie that has been riffed. Sort of like the stickers you guys (used to?) sell.

Any way to work a deal with Shout! Factory? A little insert with the MST3K box sets?  Whenever I sell a MST3K set I always ask the customer if they have tried RiffTrax or Cinematic Titanic and 99% of the time they had no clue about it. We still carry a couple of RiffTrax DVDs and I can usually get them to try one. (in fact my store has sold more of the RiffTrax DVDs than any other store in the company!)(toot-toot)!
