Is there going to be a DVD for the Reefer Madness show? I assume (or at least hope) there is. I couldn't go to the show so I really hope so!  :violin:

Unsure.  Not sure if making the live events a theatrical exclusive is something we're going to be doing in the future, but it's a possibility.

Doctor Who?

As someone who couldn't make it to this show I sure hope they release it on DvD,I want to hear the new script.

Interesting. I thought the reason they were sticking to VOD titles in the Fathom Events live shows was specifically so they could release them on DVD at some future date without having to worry about additional licensing issues. I hope it comes out on DVD for people who can't get to the theatrical showings.

That was a plus I'm sure but I believe the main reason they stuck to those titles since they don't have to worry about getting rights to show them theatrically. Also not  worrying that someone will sue since the copyright holder was in question. I'm guessing these events are not cheap to pull off, and paying for rights to the movies would make it even more costly.

I hope they make a live DVD as I could not go to the show last week and tomorrow is very doubtful due to work.

PLEASE DON'T MAKE THEM AN EXCLUSIVE
FINE

MrTorso

It would suck if they went exclusive. Cinematic Titanic puts out live DVDs I don't want and RiffTrax won't put out live DVDs I do want.

The best thing to do is show them live in theaters then release them on DVD a couple months later (in the case of this one hopefully before the HOHH Rifftrax Live?  ;))

All I know is that not being able to enjoy the Grass short whenever I want would be a tragedy.

Well, they did just release "More Dangerous Than Dynamite" here. I expect the grass short to follow, although Kevin's freakout towards the end might be difficult to translate to audio.  ;)
