I can't function knowing that in less than 12 hours the big event will occur. I'm going to the event at the AMC theater in Aventura, FL.

If anyone else will be there, let me know!
:highfive: Have a great day, everyone!  ;D

I'm going to the event at AMC in Kennesaw, Ga.  Anyone from Georgia on this forum going to it?

Alas, I'll be at the Regal Hollywood 24.

If my car doesn't go all wonky again, I'll be at the AMC Highlands Ranch 24. A mere 30 miles from Ronin.

The theater in the mall?   :o   Judging by ticket prices the one time I was there....you taking out a loan on the house?   ;)

I'll be at the UA Greenwood Plaza 12, Englewood, CO myself....

BTW, the IMDb page for Tell Your Children is evidently the place to go for links to interviews about the show...

QuoteMichael J. Nelson Says He Can Riff Movies Forever

If the SciFi Channel (or in its new incarnation as Syfy) had kept "Mystery Science Theater 3000" on the air, Michael J. Nelson would still be doing it, along with his comedy partners Kevin Murphy and Bill Corbett. But sadly, that adventure ended more than a decade ago, but the comedy hasn't. In fact, Nelson, Murphy (who voiced Tom Servo in the series) and Corbett (better known as Crow 2.0), will be back live on Aug. 19 as they make the cult favorite "Reefer Madness" even funnier than ever. Rifftrax, the movie riffing production company that includes the trio, has teamed up with Ncm Fathom and Something Awful to present "Reefer Madness" live to more than 470 movie theaters across the country.

Quote"Riff" Madness in a theater near you!

Marijuana! Murder! Sex! Improv! If you're a fan of the comedic improv trio from the legendary cult show Mystery Science Theater 3000 (MST3K), and the more recent online "comed-tary" from the same guys that brought you Rifftrax.Com, then brace your rib cage for a high night of gut stabbing hilarity as they reunite for RiffTrax Live: Reefer Madness!

The Sandhill something something theater in Columbia, SC (Hey... I just moved here; gimme a break if I can't remember the name).

Man... I'm surprised how close people actually are to each other seeing how FL, NC, GA, and SC are all represented on the board here.  Of course everyone is like 1-2hrs away from each other (which I think is right at the threshold of saying "Forget the drive, I'll just see it locally").

Close?  This isn't like NY/NJ/Philadelphia where you can take the train into NYC for the day.....

The drive from Aventura to Pinellas Park, FL is about 5 hours (depending on your opinion of the speed limit).  So figure another 5 to get to the Georgia border.  And you start getting into GA and NC, etc and the major towns are spread out....

I wished I was close to other Rifftrax/MST3K fans back in Fort Lauderdale....

Most theaters (at least AMC's) are in malls now, but I don't go during the high ticket price period, I normally go during the matinee where I pay half the ticket price.  ;D

Speaking of southeastern Rifftrax showings, I myself am attending the show at Regal North Hills 14 in Raleigh, NC!  I keep tellin' people, there's an underrated riff market around here.  ;D
