What are some of the worst actor/actress pairings that people can come up with?

My vote: Justin Long and Shia La Boeuf in a buddy cop movie.

This is a game though right, not actual ones?

Darth Geek

Mr. Miyagi and Leno.

*whispering* WHAT?!

Shaqueel O'Neal and a movie crew.

Rattrap007

SJP

Fran Drescher and Adam Sandler doing his "babytalk" voice in a remake of "My Dinner with Andre."

Sandra Bernhardt and Sarah Jessica Parker starring in anything where they are onscreen for 95% of the running time.

Gerard Depardieu and Sam Worthington playing two American guys from Illinois.

And actually, I would think that Tommy Wiseau and perhaps Christopher Walken would make one of the BEST movie pairings of all time...the only danger would be the cosmic gathering of such concentrated awesomeness/hilarity could result in a catastrophic failure of the universe.   ;D

Exchange Sarah Jessica Parker for Kathy Griffin, and I think you may have something.

You mean they are not?

Plastic Self-Cleaning Duck

Mickey Rourke and Tommy Wiseau in a RomCom...featuring Sarah Jessica Parker and Rosie O'Donnell.

Maggie Smith and Andy Dick

Katherine Hepburn and Michael Jackson (which almost came true - a Christmas movie with Hepburn as a rich old lady and Jackson as a homeless "kid" - this was after his skin started turning so I"m guessing his late 30's/early 40's? - typical "curmudgeony old woman learns the true meaning of...")

I think I heard about that project (seriously), but I can barely imagine who thought it would be a good idea:

"Oh, Johnny, oh whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa, you've taught me so much about the true meaning of Christmas!"

"See?  I told you, Christmas is MAGICAL!  Wheeee!"

Maggie Smith and Andy Dick

I'd actually wouldn't mind seeing this if it somehow involved a steel cage match and Maggie Smith tag teamed with an angry Jon Lovitz, but sounds to me more like a Harry Potter spin-off involving the wacky new professor and the McGonagle that catches his eye.

I'm picturing that one for a Memorial Day Weekend opening.   ;)

Doctor Who?

Spencer Tracy and Andy Dick in a remake of Star Wars.
