Is there going to be a Halloween-themed movie riffed again this year?

I assume that this is as good as any place to ask.  I thought I recalled that RiffTrax even had a poll for members to vote on which movie would receive 'the treatment' last year.  That being said, if true, I'd like to make a further nomination of a guest riffer, if possible.  As I posted elsewhere about Cassandra Peterson brining back her show Movie Macabre, 'back from the grave'...

It would be a great cross promotion for both RiffTrax and Her new show (Sept 25th if memory serves),

What do you think Sirs?

Well, we are doing a halloween show live in movie theaters (house on haunted hill).  Haven't planned anything else out that far ahead.

They didn't last year. The Happening is nothing related to Horror, no matter what Shamalan says. They should have released that one around Arbor Day.

Please release a horror riff for those who can't go to the live shows! There's plenty of time to get one done - and even if it's Rifftrax Presents, it would be much appreciated!

Have they ever riffed a movie to celebrate Halloween? The Matrix was released closer to Halloween than Halloween was in 2006. Nothing since then released around Halloween has ever been Halloweenie in the least.

They released it early do people would have everything ready to go on the actual day - but it was definitely for Halloween - there was even a Halloween themed Penguin game to go with it.

I forgot about that game. With the cell phone and all that. Still they haven't done one since that first year.

Not very Halloween-ish IMO. Eh. I just want Boy in the Plastic Bubble already.

I agree - but I guess it fits in with the midnight movie kind of thing.

I would prefer that kind of release to none! (I loved MttM!) But I would really like a horror movie riff.

Halloween is still one of my all time favourite riffs.

You got that right. I do wish they would do more horror flicks from time to time. I love the RT Presents of Saw.  Bill and Kevin riffs are pretty awesome. They seem to get a little dirtier then when they are riffing with Mike.

Mike tends to shy away from films like Saw, so I can understand why he didn't appear on that commentary. If you want to see more horror films get riffed, you can always check out Hor-RIFF-ic Productions. That's the only kind of movie they do.
