I've heard this brought up many times before (HISHE.com, my brother, etc.).  Glad to see the guys mention it, but... um... remember the Nazgul?  Yeah, that's Sauron's personal "Just Try It By Air, Losers!" strategy.  I know that undercuts the joke(s), but that's the answer.
