"Edgy" Fraggles?

The only overall note coming from the studio is this: "Not edgy enough."

Eh, they're a VERY filmsy premise imo.  I think 'edge' or putting something at risk in the movie would help.

Wasn't there actually an episode of Fraggle Rock where something very similar to this actually happened?  Or was I just hopped up on cough syrup with a bad cold in elementary school?  I could swear I remember an episode where a Doozer was by himself in a tunnel, when this big shadow came up behind him, and then he went missing.  I don't think anything actually BAD happened to him...I mean, it was Fraggle Rock, for Pete's sake...but I distinctly remember being a little scared at the time.
