I agree about Phelous' acting, but according to Spoony's commentary here http://spoonyexperiment.com/2010/05/22/kickassia-spoony-commentary/ being manic is quite different from his normal behavior.

Commentary?  I'm there!  Thanks for the link.  Reeally wanna hear Doug's (& Rob's) commentary, but Spoony will suffice for now.  You know of any more?  I've just been checking TGWTG for the crossover stuff.

I imagine all the overacting is quite different from everyone's regular acting.  That's what a good actor does.  Oh well.  Oh.. I forgot to mention that, yeah, Film Brain's character arc makes up for his eccentricities which helps his performance not be the worst.  Just wished he toned it down just a little more. 

Also, I forgot where I saw it but I know there was a brief snippet somewhere of LordKat in a Spooning with Spoony moment.  So that makes it Spooning With Spoony 2.1.

I posted my full review on my insignificant little blog, but the short version is: Loved it, but I think episodes five and six should have stayed a single episode. Five felt like it dragged while six felt like it was rushed, and all those cameos would have been much better in a "finale". Still, it's been a fun week, and it's been said before, but HOLY CRAP, THEY MADE A FEATURE IN FOUR DAYS.

Favorite crossovers so far: Spoony and LordKat revisiting the Pumpkinhead game ("Imagine you're Roberta Williams with massive brain damage!"), Fi'm Brain and Linkara taking on Miller's "The Spirit" flick, and Cinema Snob and Phelous trying to discuss the nonexistent Troll 4 (that one dragged a bit, but I loved the idea, the cameos were fun, and the descriptions of the fake movie made me smile).

Honorable mention goes to Doug and Brad as Disgruntled Mimes. Not shot in Reno, but still my favorite sketch on the site since the Joker's Scar Story.

Can't wait for the Linkara/Spoony crossover!

Yeah, they've been really good so far. I loved Cinema Snob calling Film Brain a fetus.

Why haven't there been more crossovers with the women? One of my favorites from last year was the Linkara/Marzgirl review of Cool World. You would think they would be more involved with the crossovers (Nostalgia Chick has a great spot in the Hotel Awesome, though).

MarzGurl mentioned that she had a crossover planned, but it was scrapped for time/energy...and keep in mind there were only two women present, so statistically, it makes sense for most of the crossovers to be male-dominated.
