RT @JoeyBinNYC: hey guys, whats up with another Fathom Events live show? // Stay tuned! Announcements are forthcoming.

Ooh. Maybe my dream of a live Rifftrax of The Unbearable Lightness of Being are coming to fruition.

RVR II

And watch it be slated for a date that I'm in Mexico again.. :grr:

Blue Raja

Though it was inevitable, always great to hear that it's sooner rather than later.  8)  Hoping for a feature-length movie this go-'round, just to keep the mixture of formats coming.

Or at the very least, riff nothing but Barbasol commercials for an hour and a half.
Featuring the taxpayer-funded efforts of Blue Raja, Hellcat, and Skyroniter!

I survived the San Diego Comic Con 2010 Hall H stabbing.

In that case they would riff DUNE live, for one time only.

Blue Raja

^ Were that ever the case, not only would that be awesome, but no force found on Earth (much less a planned trip to Mexico) would stand in RVR's way of attending that one, I would think.  :D

I would have One Serious Delima if that were to happen.. :scared: :speechless:

If that happened, suddenly RVR would pass out, jabbering incoherently, and materialize out of nowhere in the theater where they were recording the live riff of DUNE. He'd have an out of body experience a la Nelson. Then he'd snap out of it two hours later. Sadly, due to his alcohol tendencies, his family would think nothing of it.

EDIT:  This is why we need a thread devoted to someone who follows their Twitter feeds posting relevant information. I don't follow Twitter, not even the Best Brains can make it worth it.

Why don't you just create a twitter feed that follows the people whose tweets you want to see.  It's the same as checking any other website.  You don't have to contribute anything.

That is exactly what do.  I follow a bunch of folks that way.

Speaking of this, Fathom Events tweeted yesterday asking for suggestions for future events.  I replied that we need more Rifftrax!  I was hoping to get some kind of advanced word on the next show.  But no such luck, they replied that they would have good news for me soon, but they can't talk about it just yet.

I also asked for more UFC events, and for them to show WWE events (that might be fun for the big PPV's) and Broadway shows (they already show opera, so it's not that much of a stretch.)

I had a bad experience with a guy in a Tweety Bird costume at Six Flags back in 1993.  Now the thought of "tweets" just scares me.
