Don't jinx Deadpool. I have hope for Deadpool. I keep hearing things that make me ever-more-hopeful for Deadpool. Just give me this. :^)

I am hopeful-ish for Deadpool. It's a shame that he was put in an X-Universe movie though, I am 1000% more interested in the other universe.

Doesn't matter which universe he's in, Deadpool will still suck.

Yup, that's exactly what Deadpool is.  Fanboy wankering.  I couldn't agree with you more.
I'm all out for kicks...and every inch of me spells EXCITEMENT!

Doctor Who?

Hey quick question.  My little brother  wants to see this, would you say this movie is ok for a 12 year old boy?  He has seen PG13 movies before like Lord of the Rings and the first Iron Man,but I did get burned when I took him to see Transformers and it had that talk about masterbation coming out of now where.  Can you tell me with out giving away to much if this movie has anything like that in it,Thank you very much.

The middle section might be a little slow for the younger kids.  Perfect time for a bathroom break.  And there's some disturbing drunk dancing but nothing really saucy or dirty.

It'd be funny to have a girl inside a Hulk Buster sized suit because the major perception would be that only a man could handle a suit utilizing that much power.
Being a genocidal maniac is not one of my turn ons.

Is it weird to hear the Safety Dance in my head watching Game of Thrones?

Am I the only one that saw a lot of parallels between Iron Man 2 and the Venture Bros.?

Nope. When Tony started up the old film reels of his father I almost blurted out "Hello, Rusty!"

I'm not sure that's the case. Plenty of Japanese and American shows and games have young ladies piloting absurdly huge engines of destruction.

Yes, but your average, non-comicbook, non-anime fan moviegoer isn't acclimated to such things.

Black Widow got one in the Ultimates Line (though she was a traitor who nearly killed Tony Stark).  Only picture I could find was one some guy did of a custom figure:

Damn, it is tough to find an image of Natasha as Ultimate "Iron Maiden" online. Don't make me dust off my scanner, internet...

That'll do, I guess.

I think most 12-year-old American boys know about masturbation. (But he would've been 9 when Transformers came out, I know...)

Of course not. In order to deal with the Hulk, your power level would have to be over 9000. No mere female could handle that power!

(No, I'm not serious.)

Pak made the observation after the movie that he's probably the only Marvel superhero portrayed in live action who's more interesting outside the costume (or suit, as the case may be) than in it. I can't help but agree.

What I've always liked about Iron Man is the thought that anyone can use it.  This has gone away in recent tellings of Iron Man, but originally, all you had to do was put on the suit and you'd be a superhero.  X-Men are born with powers, Spiderman got bit by a spider, the Hulk got blasted with radiation, but Iron Man?  He has no powers without his suit.  War Machine is even better.  It's like if you were Tony Stark's buddy, you'd get an awesome robot suit.  And that's why I like Iron Man.

So, when does Black Widow get one then?

In the Ultimates comics, she does.

Or Pepper? Another "boys only club"?

Friend of mine says he found this movie disappointing after seeing Kick-Ass...that he found the latter much more creative and fun.

Anyone else feel this way?
