I like MVIE magazine.

Scarlet's showing us her "o" face.

Like.  :D

Probably the bestest joke I'll ever make on the internet.

 Two days later and I just got the joke.  :-[

That's... terrible.  I... I think I need to lie down for a bit.  To absorb the full ramifications of that pun.

Way more excited about the bit about Sex and the City 2 at the end!
I like artificial grape flavor, but I hate real grapes.  A paradox!?

Fingers crossed - I think I might be watching this on Wednesday night.

...

Though knowing my luck, I'll be lumbered with The Last Song, starring Miley Cyrus.

Lumbered is the right word; I can't tell you how grateful I was that the projectionist who built our print put reel #5 on backwards, thus ending my screening early.

Can someone explain why Iron Man 2 is opening in Europe a full week before we get it here in the States where it was made and junk?

So I peaked at the spoiler images from the post-credits Easter egg and I have one word to sum it up:

Saw it, loved it.

SPOILER FREE REVIEW.

I've scanned a few reviews of this, a LOT of people have complained how non-stop the movie is.  I think the term 'barrage of sounds and images' was used, this is certainly true for about the first 45 mins or so BUT I think it was to show how insane and manic Stark's life was becoming.  When the film stops to take it's breath it settles into a slightly amplified version of the first fim's great pace and easy tone, if you liked the first one you'll like this (imo).

I'm not sure it's the huge revelation and step up I felt the sequels for Spider-Man and X-Men were but I think but it's a more than worthy follow up to Iron-Man.

I haven't read any reviews yet...is the major complaint the fact that it;'s nonstop?  Because I imagine that the life of an eccentric alcoholic  billionaire who wears a suit of robot armor would be pretty much non stop action.  Oh well...I don't understand why so many critics go into action/sci fi/horror/comic book movies expecting cinematic art.

Tripe

Specifically on that point, why does the New Yorker always give the reviewing duties on these sorts of films to Anthony Lane? I mean it was probably funny the first couple of times.

Doctor Who?

Hey on the news today they said Iron Man 2 was coming out tomorrow but on Fandango it says thursday, anyone here know who is making the mistake?
