I think Tarantino's been quoted as saying he doesn't want original music in his movies, as he doesn't want someone else to have that much influence over his movie.
Tarantino would break out in hives if anything original touched one of his films.
Yeah

Quotehe doesn't want someone else to have that much influence over his movie.

aside from all the directors of the movies in his DVD collection.

That's the funniest thing I've ever heard him say. What a funny little video store clerk.  :D

And for someone so knowledgeable about the film making process, shockingly ignorant.

Matthew Lillard as Harcourt Fenton Mudd in the sequel to Abram's Star Trek.

Hmm not sure about that particular casting choice but the character would be fun to see.

RobtheBarbarian

I pictured a few of his scenes in Dungeon Siege and that kind of performance would work very well for the character, I think.

Surely it has to be Paul Giamatti.

If not, Harry Mudd then how about Cyrano Jones from "The Trouble With Tribbles."?

I would suggest Nick Frost as Harry Mudd, but with Simon Pegg as Scotty, that could get confusing. (Anybody else notice that guy in the background on the bridge who looked a lot like Kal Penn? That was distracting.)

Also, if they do Khan - which I hope they don't - at least have him played by an Indian this time?

Tripe

He'll be played by Wilmer Valderrama and you'll like it!

In a Civil War Movie, because I don't recall having seen them much if at all.

Trench Warfare

The Spectators at Manassas/Bull Run

I'll be working on a film about the civil war and I know the likely writer but I'm not sure yet which battles will feature so I don't know if I can influence the script to include either of those elements. :)

In line with that, I'd love to see a World War 1 movie.  If you ever read about World War one, it seems horrifying.  More so than most wars, that is.  How freaked out do you think the Germans were when the first tank ever came thundering across a battlefield, deflecting bullets?  Or when the first gas bombs were used in Belgium?
I like artificial grape flavor, but I hate real grapes.  A paradox!?
