true or false, i chose to believe it because it's hilarious.

People that are different to you are hilarious.

no, people who are glorified as sex idols that write incredibly stupid songs like "poker her face" are hilarious to me.  i have a fourth grade sense of humour.

Then what does that have to do with you believing she's a hermaphrodite?

I'm sick of "LINE!"  There's got to be something less lazy you can do when there's an awkward pause.  But some people in this very thread have mentioned loving it so each to their own.

On the other hand the Laaaaaaadies! always makes me laugh.  Does anybody know how that originated?  Was it from an MST3K movie they riffed once?

Could go back to the "Pinter play" stuff they used to do....or the way they dealt with all the pauses in A Touch of Satan...

Different writing team back then, but still.

I'm pretty tired of the "yay! The movie's over!" when the movie fades to black at some point other than the ending.  Some jokes are (sorta kinda) funny for being brought up again and again, but this one has been done many, many times, and really has no call-back value.

ShadowDog

I don't dislike it but it's never made me laugh that I remember so yeah.

I did get tired of CGI being mentioned over and over in most of the super-hero movies.  Ok, Kevin, we know they're using visual effects.  Tobey probably wouldn't like to swing through Manhattan on a hundred feet of cable.

The disembaudio skits during The Room.  I think I'd like them better if not for the voice, but disturbing sex scene+extended electronic dialogue=pain.  I guess it's not really a running gag.

Also, I do love llllllllladies, and "Celebrity name!"  Beowulf has a great "Gary Busey!" yell in it.
I like artificial grape flavor, but I hate real grapes.  A paradox!?

I was getting a little tired of it too, but when Bill added "Dammit! Every $#@%&! time!" it was great!

Agreed.  A filmmaker uses whatever tools have been invented.  If CGI had been around in 1923 then Cecil B. DeMille would have been using the HELL out of it for the Ten Commandments.  Also, the same people bitching about how fake CGI looks now act like those Ants in the 50s invasion movies were realistic looking or something.

But at least when Mike and Co bring up CGI it's for comedic purposes, which is unlike the critics who actually annoy me on this topic.

Eragon has the definitive version of that joke.

Imagine the end of Return of the King when they get to it, there's like a half hour of fake ending on that movie.

one joke i thought i would get tired of, but never have is, "don't let the sound of your own wheels drive you crazy" whenever anyone in a film says to "take it easy".  i still laugh every time in every movie with that one.

ShadowDog

As far as that goes, I'll never ever get sick of Bill singing when somebody says "What's happening."  LMFAO
