God, I used to have one of those toys myself. Scared the bajeezus out of me, even when the cassette player inside of him wasn't working anymore.

I want a more out of left field, but not totally obscure one like The Bourne Identity or Memento.  I like movies like that.  They don't fit into any mold:

They're not old and/or obscure (Voodoo Man, Planet of Dinosaurs, The Room).
They're not part of a series.
They're not a super recent release (I'm thinking I Am Legend, Cloverfield, right off the top of my head).
They're not based on a comic book.
They're not science fiction.
They don't star some of our more popular Rifftrax stars (Nick Cage, Patrick Swayze).

There's just something pleasing about these sort of out of left field selections.  I was trying to rewatch The Bourne Identity the past few nights (trying because I keep starting the DVD too late and falling asleep).  And it was a really solid effort.

I wouldn't call Bourne Identity obscure, and it is part of a series.

I didn't call it obscure either.  My first point was that movies like Bourne and Memento AREN'T obscure like Voodoo Man.

You're right it is part of a series, but not a previously riffed one.

Sorry about that.  I don't know why I even decided to correct you in the first place!

We don't know. The game isn't until tomorrow at 11 Pacific time. Guess then because no one is going to answer you, nor will your question count until then.
I survived the San Diego Comic Con 2010 Hall H stabbing.

Star Trek would be great, but I'm really pulling for GI Joe. :^)

I've never really understood the whole "Teddy Ruxpin = Scary" phenomenon. I loved Teddy Ruxpin as a kid. The Chuck E Cheese band freaked me out the first time I saw them though. Those things were big, loud, and had me outnumbered. Teddy just sat there telling stories and blinked. Even if he had decided to go rogue, I'm pretty sure I'd be able to take him. Can't say the same for the band. All 65 episodes of the Teddy Ruxpin cartoon series are out on DVD. I think they might make for some interesting iRiffs.

It starts in a little less than 2 hours. I don't think they've ever looked at the forum clock.
(It didn't change from daylight savings, huh?)
