Wristcutters: A Love Story
Oh man.  I forgot about that movie.  It looked very quirky and unique, but I've been hesitant cuz it might just depress me by the end of it.  GOB as a cult leader is the clincher for me.  I should risk getting depressed just to see that.
All things considered, it's not really depressing. Actually kind of hopeful (though it helps if your tolerance of dark comedies is at a good level).
It's probably not.  "American Beauty" is my fave dark comedy, but pretty much everything else is my least favorite.  I'm sure there are a few examples I can't think of right now though.  Oh wait... I'm about to watch "The Man Who Knew Too Little".  That's a fun dark comedy.  I'm just gonna wait till I'm in the mood for it.  Maybe after TMWKTL.

QuoteSo I wouldn't worry about it.
Thanks, Dinny.

Wait, I've got a few more (not sure if you've already seen these, I haven't checked your list):

Pontypool
Wristcutters: A Love Story
The Taking of Pelham One Two Three (original)
Alien Raiders
Four Rooms

And everyone seems to be including a mean entry, so:

August Underground No, no, scratch that. How about Cheerleader Ninjas instead?

I've seen Wristcutters, Four Rooms, and Pelham.  The others have been added.  (I liked Wristcutters as well)

Some of mine may cause pain but they are also so stupid they have to be seen.

Battle Warrior starring Tony Jaa
Ben Hur(silent version)
Death Wish 3
Death wish 4
Death Wish 5
Doctor Who and the Daleks
Daleks Invasion Earth:2151
Final fantasy VII Advent Children
Cowboy Bebop the Movie

Added (with the exception of Cowboy Bebop, which I saw in the first challenge), though Battle Warrior isn't showing up on any imdb search listings.  Any idea of its other names, Doc?

It wouldn't be much of a challenge if I didn't have some terrible ones mixed in with the good.  But yeah, your suggestions are very much appreciated.  :)

OK so some I actually liked

The Big Bus
Carry On Screaming
Carry On Up The Khyber
(ooh relevance to today's touchy situation in Afghanistan! ;))
The Tao of Steve
Daughters of the Dust - And if you can't track that down I'll see if I can find the contact details for one of my tutors back in Winchester.
CSA - Confederate States of America
Curse of the Cat People
Two-Way Stretch
Heavens Above

And one which I can't say I enjoyed so much but since you've seen the original:

Get Carter (2000)

I've seen a couple of those (Cat People, CSA) but I'll add the others.  :)

It is.  imdb's listing is weird, putting things beginning with "the" under T.

The DvD I have just says Battle Warrior.  It's a really goofy kung-fu movie.  I'll do some research and get back to you.  Sorry about that.

Here is the amazon page for the DvD I have.  http://www.amazon.com/Battle-Warrior-Tony-Jaa/dp/B000UVV2AG/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=dvd&qid=1257349420&sr=1-1

I might have seen The Villain before, because I vaguely recall Schwarzenengger on horseback, but I'll add it (along with the others) anyways.
