ambitiously stupid

When punks start hasslin' decent people, I make it my buisness!

Listen Murdock, I'm sick and tired of your dead lobster...

Yep.

Let's not turn this political, guys.

That's okay. I can criticize her without bringing politics into the discussion. SHE'S A COMPLETE MORON! There. That was easy.
This iRiff will only be on sale for another few hours. Get it while it's cheap!

Here are my nominations:

1. Conan O'Brien:it's Conan.

2. Patton Oswalt: Watch comedians of comedy for reasons why....

3. Joel McHale: The soup is a hilarious show and he has a sharp witty delivery...now most of his stuff may or may not be all written by other people but we know Mike is a great writer and I am sure Joel would do a great job with the material.

4. Phil Hendrie: this may be a controversial pick but he is funny and he is great at improving...also his ability to perform different voices would be sooooo great for a rifftrax.

5. Martin Sargeant: Not as well know as the other people on this list but he is a really funny guy who hasn't really had the chance to shine...his show on Tech Tv was awesome but ofcourse it came to an end...

here is a clip from his old show

Bea Arthur - Originally a joke, now I think it could work.

Dirty Smelly Anteater

I'd love to see Wil Wheaton guest riffing for a Next Generation Star Trek flick.  Preferably Nemesis.

Spoken like a true critic.   ;)

Steve-O

I shall nominate H. Jon Benjamin.

He voiced Coach McGuirk and Jason on Home Movies and Ben Katz on Dr. Katz.  He's funny as hell, he's a great improviser, and his voice has a quality that just makes everything he says funny.  The guy could bring me to tears reading a stock ticker.

May I propose the official rule for non-MST3K riffers.......

"Thou must have headshot on Yahoo.com in order to make the DVD covers".

Oh yeah, that and not speak your comments in Russian.

k i like coulter and i dont think she fits in the "spirit" of things, shes just to mean.  Funny but mean.  there are lots of comedians in that vein that are funny and just dont belong here.  I think carlin is one.  so thats the two opposite ends of the political spectrum.

However people i would like to see

1.  weird al- he fits in so well
2.  conan- oh yeah again fits well
3.  dan castellaneta- voice of simpsons homer
4.  billy west- voice of futurama fry
5.  hank azaria- voice of chief wiggum as well as an actor in his own right
6.  harry shearer- another voice actor for the simpsons as well as a member of spinal tap :)

starfighter

s_m_E just beat me to Harry Shearer.  It would be fun to hear a number of Simpson voices riffing.

I also concur with the Joel McHale nom.  Some Talk Soup alum would fill in nicely: John Henson, Hal Sparks or Aisha Tyler are all clever commentators.

I think maybe Sharky would agree with me here: Maurice LaMarche! Just so he could do an entire Riff of AI as Bender.   ;D

Bender was John DiMaggio.

I'd have to go with:

1) Norm MacDonald (Would probably be an R-Rated Rifftrax)
2) Bob Saget (another R rating)
3) Carrot Top (only if they did Chairman Of The Board)

I love Martin Sargent!  I still have a video from TechTv where he sang "Download My Love" in parody of boy bands.  It had to be one of the funniest things I ever saw on TechTV.   I think he was still on Call For Help at the time because Leo was in the video.  Martin was always bringing the humor to Call For Help.  I admit, I like Leo Laporte too.  He's not "funny" like Martin but I do love him, even if he is a Mac-lover.  Curses!

Anyway, Unscrewed where he was the "host" was great but the whole network was headed toward the crapper at that point so that wasn't a fair time to give him his own show (better then than never though).  He's not bad looking either, which probably doesn't weigh into Mike and the Rifftrax guy's thought processes but hey, it weighs into mine :-).

I used to be such a TechTV junkie. I miss it.  I still read Martin and Leo's blogs every now and again, here's Martin's:
