With the announcement of Lowtax likely doing a RiffTrax with Mike, I wanted see who else you guys would like to see Mike team up with.  And what better way than to do another playoffs run!  I want this to go much like the RiffTrax Playoffs went in December.  In this thread, each poster gets to nominate 3 people they would like to see as guest riffers, and then we'll put them up in polls and vote, narrowing down the choices until a winner emerges.  I would like to lay down a few guidelines:

1) No MST3K Alumni.  Obviously, they would win the polls, and the merits of having them on a riff have been discussed to death already.  No complaining!

2) Don't nominate someone who will likely be unable/unwilling to do a riff with Mike.  People like Tom Cruise, Joe Don Baker, Mitch Hedberg, etc.  Try to think of people who would be "game" for this sort of thing.

3) Unless it's a totally obvious celebrity, please provide a word or two on who the person is.

This "nominations" stage will stay open for ~5-7 days, depending on participation.  I'll start the nominations off:

Joel McHale (host of The Soup on E!)
Kevin Smith (director)
Dave Attell (stand-up comedian)

I second the Joel McHale and raise you a David Cross(Tobias from AD) and Rainn Wilson(Dwight from The Office).

hmm keeping it to people who would be game enough kind of toughens up the nominations....

Kevin Smith would definately do it..

Weird Al would I think...

Joss Weedon?

Pak-Man

Seconded on Weird Al. Let's throw in Conan O'brien and (what the hay) Patrick Swayze

BBQ Platypus

I see your Conan (great idea) and raise you a Bruce Campbell (even better idea).
Correction: the coat hanger should be upside down.

From what people say, Wil Wheaton is meant to be funny now.

Well, you never know who would say "yes" or "no".  Don't sweat that part of it.

Well I just tried to narrow it down to people I thought with a sense of humour, was tempted to say Brad Pitt, cos he did stuff with the Jackass guys.

...

Alright then, how about...

Jay Chandrasekhar:
Broken Lizard's main man and writer of Super Troopers & Beerfest

Trey Parker & Matt Stone:
They count as one choice because i think they're attached at the hip anyway...

Dana Snyder:
Also known as Master Shake, and who should perform an entire Rifftrax as Master Shake~

Seth MacFarlane:
Yeah, that's four choices (technically five) but what are ya' gonna' do about it, punk?

I think all of these guys can not only be really funny whether or not they have a script, but they're also very entertaining to listen too! And that's going to be a huge plus when it comes to basically doing voice-over work for 2hours~

PS- Please keep David Cross the hell away from my Rifftrax!~

This is an excellent point, and definitely something to consider.
