Is this going to be a live performance of the three riffer edition of Plan 9, or a brand new script?  Are we going to see the riffers on screen (a la Cinematic Titanic, MST3k, or simply even a picture in picture of them reading), or is this going to be just like a regular rifftrax, but on the big screen?  Anyone have answers?  Feel free to use this thread to ask any other questions you might have about the show.

Will this be recorded and available afterwards?

I doubt it will be an entirely new script. There will probably be new elements to it but I doubt they are gonna re-write the entire thing. The thing I am the most curious about is how they are going to broadcast it. I think it will be quite weird to watch a broadcast of a projected image.  I am hoping for some kind of picture in picture situation.

It will not be a completely new script but we went through it over the past couple days and there is now a good amount of new stuff in there.  The short is all new though.  The filming of it, I'm not sure about, but it is a several camera shoot so there will be opportunities for reactions, closeups, etc.  I think the focus will be the movie though, though since Plan 9 is a full frame movie, there might be room on the sides for stuff too.  Questions that will probably be figured out next week in Nashville.

I believe so.  And if it sells enough tickets, it gets an automatic encore performance a few weeks later.

Any love for the people that have to catch the "rerun" on September 2nd? Will we have the same access to the free digital goodies as the people who are *privileged* (grrrrrrrrrrrr) to catch the live event?

//probably a stupid question, but someone hadda axe...

Will there be beer?
Beer? Likely. Bacon? Definitely!

I don't really like beer, but I'll bet you could pick up several boxes of pre-cooked bacon at the Target near the theater.  Bacon never really caught on as theater food, did it?

I dont' see why there wouldn't.  Though I think the possibility of it being rerun depends on the amounts of ticket sold to the first one.

Not sure what you mean by that. It's already scheduled for some theaters on September 2nd, including the one for which I bought a ticket. Is the September 2nd showing going to be yanked?

I have a question.  What exactly is an autographed digital photo?  Is it a digital photo with pre printed autographs that you print out or is it a digital photo that has been printed and then signed?  Not a big deal but I had never seen that term used before.
I seem to have gotten wedged in the bulkhead here- no matter! Soon it will be you who becomes wedged in the bulkhead of my plan!

MrTorso

I would assume it is a digital photo with pre printed autographs that you print out.

I don't know what's going on here, but I assume if you bought a ticket, they are planning on re-showing the broadcast.

Heard today that this theater chain (national amusements?) had another event booked on Thursday, but wanted to show ours as well, so they just booked it for the next week.  So it is a legit listing.
