I have not seen New Moon, dare I ask what she did to werewolves?

From what I hear, the werewolves are basically shapeshifters that can only turn into wolves.

... And then there's imprinting.  Just... ugh.

Plus the transformation scenes are apparently just light arcs, aren't they?

What?!

A werewolf that was on tv four years ago is better then that.  You would think a major movie that is expected to make $400 million would be able to do better then a tv show,at least when it comes the transformation.

This is a real werewolf.

In broad daylight. Why is Meyer even bothering to call them werewolves? She's doing to these mythological monsters what Michael Bay has done to robots.

  :o

She can't be human can she?  No human would do that.

They might if they were getting as much money and fame as she's getting. She's hardly the first hack writer to get this popular, though.

I have no problem with werewolves transforming in daylight, as long as you establish that as your specific werewolf mythology. Anyway, aren't these American Southwest Native American skinwalker-type werewolves? If so, the European full moon tradition wouldn't apply. (Making the title of the book very stupid...)

So they're not werewolves in our traditional white-man's movie monster sense?

That is uhbsolutely fuhscinating.

I have no doubt Stephenie Meyer sleeps nose to anus.

They should just call this Girl Boner: The Franchise. Hot guys who bite your neck. Hot guys who turn into dogs to imply doing it doggystyle. Oh, but not until you're 18 of course. Until then, enjoy your GIRL BONER (cue Paramore song or whatever).

I'm surprised she didn't write a Mummy character who just likes to tie girls to their beds with bandages.

Everything I've read about skinwalkers seems to indicate that they're witches that can change into any animal they want, usually by wearing the pelt of the animal and chanting spells, incantations, and probably using various potions and such. Obviously American pop culture has taken vast amounts of liberties with this myth.

I'm now morbidly terrified curious as to how Meyer would do a zombie novel.  :speechless:

That pretty much sums it up.

How come when girls watch porn it is cute and parents are fine with it even give them money for it,but when boys do it it is wrong?  I am not saying I am ok with porn i am just trying to figure out why porn aimed at one sex is considered art and porn aimed at the other isn't.  I mean that what these and most cheap romance novels are.
