I'm going to give Empire a crack this weekend. I'll see how it goes...

Son of a . . . I was going to just post mine in two parts, but I just realized that when I deleted all the files after I made the final DVD, I deleted the srt file, too. Geez.

Okay, I used SubRip and after quite a bit of fiddling with the syncing and a little editing, I finally got it figured out . . . I think.

I tried to put the subs in this post, but apparently they're too big. Anyone know of a good file storage/sharing service?

Try mediafire.  it's free, allows files up to 100mb and has unlimited storage, uploads and downloads.  And free users don't have to wait 700 minutes or whatever to let the download go.

I complied an SRT for Empire.  Tested it and it works. Here ya go.

EDIT: I checked the DVD and there is no Forced subs this time.  HooRAY!

I saw that too and cheered.  And then I remembered we probably won't be so lucky come Return of the Jedi...Curse you Jabba the Hutt!

Here's the sub file I'm using for Twilight. Having some issues with my reauthor, though, so tell me if these don't sync. On my last attempt, it synced fine with the audio, but the video was lagging. I'm working on getting that taken care of, but in the meantime, I figured I'd throw this out there for anyone else needing a sub file.

Die Hard subtitles anyone?

I might make some subs this weekend since I own the movie. However, I currently don't have plans to reauthor it, so it's only if I have some spare time.

Otherwise I got Empire Strikes Back and Twilight subs up for everyone.

Anyone who has the DVD of Planet of Dinosaurs (non-Rifftrax) want to make some subtitles? That's assuming it has subs or closed captioning to rip, of course.

Troa11

Casablanca subs, set to sync with the 2-disc deluxe edition if it makes a difference.

I should have Tron in a day or so, I just need to spellcheck the rip and make sure it syncs.

MSTJedi

I really should've put mine up, but I'm lazy that way. SubRip is great, but not perfect. I still had to do some syncing and edits.

Here's Tron!

I checked it over but no promises on no typos.

By the way Shin, feel free to use these on the main page if you don't have time to put your own together.

Not sure if you are still here, but the Twilight subs were off by a small margin.  Basically, they'd say the line, THEN it'd appear.
