Queen Europa

I am a newbie on Rifftrax. My name is Queen Europa and I live on Planet Majesty. But when I visit earth,I stay in Texas. Why Texas, you may ask? I like steaks, cowboys and tornadoes. Also Texas is where my spaceship landed, the first time I visited earth.Everyone seems to accept the strange and unusual on this site. So,I figured an Alien Queen from another planet would fit right in! So.....what does everyone do for fun around here???

Welcome

For fun I like to tell people I can eat the 72 oz. Steak at the Big Texan in under an hour and get it for free....

(Its more of an advertisement than an personal fact, but people are impressed  :) )

That's on my list of places to visit if ever I do a grand tour of the US :)

If Texans are the extent that you have experienced humanity, we're lucky you haven't blown up Earth yet.

For fun around here we discuss insignificant films with religious fervor, laugh hysterically at an old cowtown puppet show, and periodically one of us will get into a hissy fit (usually Isaac and/or bratpop) for no reason. We also watch movies of varying quality while simultaneously listening to recorded ramblings.

Some of us also make our own such recorded ramblings.   ;D

Then there's the competitive bacon eating.

Seriously?

The things people want to see on trips always astounds me. When I lived in Amarillo, that was always "The steak place on the way to the airport" rather than anything special. Then again, practically every visitor to Denver sems to want to eat at Casa Bonita rather than, say, any of the 12 Mexican food places within a five minute drive of me, most of which serve better food.

Here too. I'll write an article on something really neat that I think people should see (like we have massively large swans that migrate here every year and it's a really neat sight to see 200 30 lb swans fly in for the night) and hardly anyone reads them, yet articles on our double decker outhouse and the list of local walmarts get thousands of hits.  I review all the cool hole in the wall restaurants, yet a small review of Chili's gets more hits than any of them.

People confuse and bewilder me, but it *is* a pretty sweet outhouse.
mike5150 how tall are you?.....in gallons?

Yes, I love all those "eat it all and it's free" type challenges. They're emblematic of the bountiful nature of the Americas, something that de Crèvecoeur would have probably written about. :)
