I'd love to see a new Rifftrax Presents. Any of those on the horizon?

Seconded.  (especially anything by Cole/Janet or M.J. Elliot)

Matthew has a Michael Bay riff in the works apparently...

The Rock...hopefully.

That would be good, but I'm hoping for The Island!

It's not The Island; he said that much on Facebook.

Or maybe it is and he's lying to throw me off the trail.

I'm submitting my question in advance 'cause i wont be available at the time you play the game.
Make sure it's promoted to the right thread.
"Is it Avatar?"
It is!Isn't it?
When do I collect my free riff?

- The ... son of the Nemean Lion!"

3/12, eh? I suspect that'll be another one that's correctly guessed on the first try.

Hmmmm.....

Avatar, a movie which is still in theaters, being announced as the next Rifftrax 15 days from now.  Nope.  Can't see anything odd about that.

Don't you see!?  This time we'll download it onto our iPods (and portable mp3 players) and listen to the RT in the theater!  Or... we just won't get a RiffTrax until April 22nd (the day "Avatar" is released on dvd).

I agree it's very cheap that Bay ripped them off

Why do people blame Bay? Did he have anything to do with the storyline and the writing? If not, then it's not Bay's fault. If so, then carry on.

I've done that, using MP3 Player with Rifftrax in the theater, and the riff didn't stay synced.

Really?  Which movie?

Also, I would think they'd sync it according to the film's projection were they to do it that way.  Then I suppose when the dvd gets released, they would create a new dvd-synced version.

Well The Room is still routinely shown in theaters, but in those cases you'd probably have more fun watching it unriffed and participating in the experience with the audience.

He's probably referring to The Dark Knight, which, at the time of its DVD release (the same day as the riff release) was still playing in some theaters.

Nope. Jurassic Park.

The local 2nd run theater has midnight showings of movies so my younger brother and I went to see Jurassic Park (my EIGHTH time seeing it).

Aewsome! I would love to see Jurassic Park in theaters again. With or without Rifftrax.

I hope they do more guest riffing. I was talking to hubby last night that they should do a riff on the move written by one of the boys...Kevin? But we weren't sure how the industry would react to him doing that but I assumed that they would know him from MST3K fame and thusly know how he rolls, but that he is also a serious writer....so there.:)

That monster, he stole Batman's doofy voice.

I would too. I would love to have Mark Hamill or Craig Ferguson do a riff with the guys. That would be sweet, especially Mark Hamill.
