AVI not playing

I just d/led the QuipTrax show in AVI format and it won't play.  It just sits there in the player with a black screen and the time bug not moving.  I am using Media Player 10 with the ffdshow codec, which I can play many other AVI format files with.

Anyone had this problem?  Anyone know how to fix it?


EDIT:  I posted this here because it's where the front page support sent me.  Then after posting I read the sticky post--the support links should be updated.  I reposted this in the tech support area.
