RVR II

I don't have the best computer in the world but the ustream broadcast worked very well for me.  There might have been a half-second delay between the audio and video.  The biggest "problem" that I saw was that it did lag just a second or so every few minutes.  But I'll chock that up to my DSL connection.

Here's hoping that they'll do an online live riff of a full length movie soon.  I'm just assuming that the next live riff on the 28th will be another short.  But, I'd love to be wrong on that account.   :P

Also, I implore my fellow forum members to use RiffChat during the online live riffs if you'd like to chat.  We had roughly 15 to 20 people in there last night and it worked out really well.

Oh, and there was a weird little oddity that us RiffChat users experienced that I'd like to mention to the Rifftrax folks.  Right after the Q&A session was over RiffChat completely crashed.  I'm not sure if the forum did too because I wasn't on it at the time.  Just wondering if the two events were related to each other.

Anyway, I can't wait for the 28th.  Should be another fun night!

Bob: Turkey.

Action Batch:  Woah, let's all mellow out and rap about this.

How soon after?  Didn't crash for me; I left.  But I left about 2 minutes after Mike and the guys said their goodbyes.  Maybe it was just your web browser?  Firefox was grinding for me and using up at least 95% of the CPU the whole time.

RiffChat crashed and kicked pretty much everyone out of the chat room.  So, I know it just wasn't me.  Something went screwy with the server for a couple minutes.  But everything eventually went back to normal.

Forums were down for a bit, as well.  I couldn't access them for quite some time.  I chalked it up to a massive amount of traffic.

3000 people probably simultaneously watched the show and said, "Let's buy that short!" :^)

There may be some truth to that cause I tried to buy it and then everything crashed.. :o

I just want to thank Bill, Mike, and Kevin fro answering my question. Rest assured, if my little sis EVER sings that damn song, I will turn my back on her!

And thanks, BTA for putting up the Q and A session, now I can send it to my sister and openly mock her!

Sooooo

Some phone wire in the wall decided that 25 years was a ripe age for a phone wire to die, and so at roughly 5:15 pm pacific time, we lost internet and phone. You can't imagine how amazing upsetting such a thing is. Oh well, I'll try and make the next one.

Listened to the Q&A. Sounds like I'm a backstage running gag. What I always wanted to be!  ;D

Bill is practically your nemesis.  You've got two choices if you ever meet:  throw down or make sweet sweet love. *

These are not really your only two choices.
I'm all out for kicks...and every inch of me spells EXCITEMENT!

It was great seeing all the Forum members in the chat before and after the show!  I'm already stocking up for more popcorn and snacks to throw for the crowd.  Bacon muffins all around!

Wamma meechum everyone!

And all her relatives, which would include you?  How do you turn your back on yourself?

Just listened to the Q&A.   Did I hear correctly?  Did Mike say he was going to 'preview' the film Ghost later?    An upcoming rifftrax perhaps?

Tripe

You're not alone on that, Mr. McDuck.  Well... it wasn't an old wire so much as it was my neighbor's internet giving out.  The internet I was hijacking.  I stand by my karmaic result though, as disappointing as it was.
