What the hell is going on?

Ok, I'm not sure how much you guys have seen lately concerning Jim Mallong and CT, but there's some petty, childish shit going on.

I was sent a link to a bittorrent site called mininova by a friend who had run across CT episodes being uploaded by Jim Mallon apparently. It seems as if Mallon first uploaded a complimentary copy sent to him from Joel with a snide remark at the end of the torrent description:

"Here's what I think of your complimentary copy of Cinematic Titanic, Joel! - Jim Mallon"

He (or someone claiming to be him) has uploaded most of the others, now claiming that he is Joel saying that form now on all CT releases will be free:

As you can see he's also plugging his own mst3k website. What the fuck is this guy's problem? How can he act so incredibly petty and childlike? This is just astounding.

I won't post the links here because mininova is a torrent site and downloading Jim's torrents of the CT episodes not only hurts CT, but would also suggest "siding" with Mallon in his petty crusade. Everything I've posted though is word for word.from the torrent descriptions.

Does anyone else have any commentary on this? This is seriously fucked up.

That's my guess too. Just some ass stirring the pot.  I seriously doubt Mallon would be so stupid that he'd oppenly attack Cinematic Titanic or Joel.  He doesn't need any bad feelings from the fanbase, he's seen enough of that.

Seems to me it would be pretty stupid of him to use his own name.
