You know, this doesn't have to be about people saying they liked movies or actors you dislike, it could be something where someone says something about a movie or something connected with the movies that is blatantly untrue, like... I dunno... like saying Best Boy means Acting Coach, or claiming that Bill Pullman has 5 Oscars or something like that.

Okay here is something. I posted a stinger video on youtube (for rifftrax folk) for Indy 4 and this is what one person had to say about the Nuclear bomb scene.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hrmcSXF2s7c

<"You see, the fridge represents the insular aspect of our emotions and the nuclear blast represents the human condition. Indy represents the everyday man fighting against the corporate warmongers trying to destroy the human spirit. Pure Brilliance, if I do say so myself" -croat88>

Not sure if I saw the same movie as them... or if they are truly serious, but I really doubt Lucas is that deep.

(sorry for mentioning indy 4 again)

"Heath Ledger IS the Joker."

You're right. Jack Nicholson wasn't the Joker either. Or anyone else who's played him. For you see the Joker is a fictional character.

Though I do think that Heath Ledger has given the best potrayal to date.
Killing me won't bring back your Goddamned honey!

Here follows a rough reproduction (from memory only) of an actual AIM chat with an acquaintance about The Matrix about a month after it came out:

He: I dunno, it kinda bugged me.
Me: Why?
He: It was just stupid.  And so fake.
Me: Like what?
He: It was stupid for him to have 50 guns.  He should have just had 1 gun and a bunch of ammo.
Me: Uh, dude, he was in computer fakeyland.  And it looked cool.
He: No one would do that.  It annoyed me.
Me: It looked cool.  You know, like a video game.  Because it was virtual.
He: Just some ridiculous things goign on - people can't move like that.
Me: DID YOU WATCH THE MOVIE?!?!  THE MATRIX IS A FAKE PLACE WHERE REAL PEOPLE HAVE FAKE PERSONAS AND DO SUPERHEROEY FAKE THINGS!!!!!!
He: You know how much ammunition weighs, let alone a whole gun.
Me: I HATE YOU!!!!!!!!
He: It just bugged me.
Me: AAAUUUGGGHHH!!!!!!

That's my entry.

Doctor Who?

Your all right.

Mark Hamil is The Joker.

Someone at work once told me that Tom Criuse is one of the best actors of all time.

He made a living acting. Unfortunately, Xenu took it.

...which is sweet and sad at the same time it is sardonic and funny.

It's a class-act liftoff for the fall movie season.

Fraught with a deep sadness and sense of yearning. Yet, it is also an enormously -- at times, even uproariously -- comedic film

This year's must-see film.

A lovely, quietly thrilling thing..............and there are many many more....five star this, two thumbs up that

All made about Lost in translation, a movie so bad it made me punch the person that made me watch it right in the face....(sorry grandma)

Ah... but SOME people call him the space cowboy...

I once knew somebody who insisted that Mike TeeVee's name had something to do with transvestism.
