How can you call yourself a pirate if you never burst into an impromptu musical number?

Pirates 3: Pirates have Laws and kings?!

What's the flipping point of being a Pirate?!

Thank you so much for bringing up what I have been thinking from the first one. Even the "Parle" from the first one didn't make sense to me, but it was only one small part of an otherwise amazing film, so I let it go. But in the third one it just MADE NO SENSE!

That's why the first one is the only one i really like.

I own it on Blue ray but i will never pay for the other two.

the second one was too long and the third one made no sense at all.

I mean if you are going to fallow laws and have king why not just fallow the laws of Britain and not risk being hung?

Because thats how we roll float.

I also really like the second one, because it ramped up the supernatural element from the first one which made it so interesting. It was pointlessly long, but if a movie like that is going to have filler, then make it fun action scenes (cannibal island, waterwheel fight, etc.) as apposed to the boring talking scenes and way too many cross/double crosses in the third one.

Fuzzy Necromancer

Here here.

I liked the stuff that went on in Pirates 2, and I can't totally flunk any movie with a Kraken.

The Kraken gets killed offscreen in 3. Wtf. This suppposedly unstoppable leviathan just dies because the british guy told Davy Jones to hunt it down.

They already made Pirates of the Caribbean into something that didn't suck. It's called MONKEY ISLAND, and if Disney didn't suck, they would have just bought the rights to that instead of trying to turn "dog holding keys" into a three-picture franchise (soon to be a four-picture trilogy).

I was so addicted to those games when I was a kid, I still have the first two (my favorite, the third, got lost and now I'll have to resort to Ebay since the game stores don't sell it anymore :'( )
Dammit, Maverick! Why don't you play by the rules?!

"Joel, what's a Harringway?"
"About a pound."

I just looked on Amazon, and HOLY CRAP, 20 bucks for an eleven year old PC game?

Pak-Man

Worth every penny, too. The old LucasArts point-and-clicks are so beloved, they're still in high demand after all these years.

They do. I have both one and two on one CD

Well. They DID, rather. The Monkey Island Madness set has been out of print for years and costs a pretty penny these days. Same story for all the point and clicks ever released by Lucasarts. Your best bet is to stumble on it in a flea market or used game store.

Or download it via a torrent.

Wow. Despite being a ridiculously poor college student, there are some items in my possession that I refuse to sell no matter how much I want to eat that week.

Where's my Monkey Island Madness CD....
