Here's a trailer for a movie that looks as bad as anything by Friedberg/Seltzer. The worst part is that it was directed by David Zucker.

And of course, obnoxious windbag Bill O'Reilly loves the movie...BECAUSE HE'S IN IT!

Wow...I just...........I mean........doesn't Michael Moore do a good enough job making fun of himself?

This just looks like a retarded polemic.

Wow... I know most trailers aren't trying to display subtlety, but... wow...

It's too bad the Zucker juggernaut has not produced anything funny in a very long time. I don't see this as any different, unfortunately. Though I did get a kick out of the terrorist name calling bit.

On a side note, it's simply amazing just how much like his brother Kevin Farley is. Uncanny! Check him out in this rent-a-car commercial:

Yes, this looks like crap. Why is it that conservatives can't even make a funny spoof movie about such an easy target like Michael Moore? Liberals hate America? Nonsense. And not funny, to boot. WHile Team America was (mostly) a very funny movie, they had a similar Michael Moore hates America crap, and it wasn't funny there, either.

Scary Movie 4 and Superhero Movie had their moments.  They were both miles above the recent Spartans Date the Epic Disasters crapfest, I'm sure.

Edit:  Just watched that trailer, and it was nowhere near as bad as folks here were making it out to be.  I laughed at it.  And will watch it when it hits DVD.  :P  It's not like Michael Moore isn't a very good target for a satire.  (Roger & Me was awesome though.)

You didn't like that part?

Yeah, that bit rubbed me the wrong way too.  I was pretty much "WE GET IT, ËVERYONE UNDERSTANDS HE'S NOT OBJECTIVE. WE KNOW THIS"

In fact retrospectively I find Team America an obvious beginning to Matt and Trey becoming the obviously bitter people they are now.

I was saying that I actually liked that bit.  It's clearly not meant to actually represent him in any way.  It's like in South Park where so many things go so far over the line they come back around.

I was agreeing with Darth.

Ah.  I see.  What a mildly amusing misunderstanding.

I know, it's like 3's Company or something,

I disagree.

I didn't like any of Team America. It was somewhat funnier than anything Stone and Parker had done on South Park since about 2004, but it still had them trying to reach above their level of talent. It was like watching Pauly Shore attempt Shakespeare. It's no wonder that planned episode that Norman Lear was supposed to write fell through.
