How did you hear about or find Rifftrax?!?

Remerdre

One of my friends at work told me about it.  She knew I'd been a MST3K fan, and I was in the middle of reading Kevin's "A Year at the Movies."  She told me about the Rifftrax for Twilight.  I went home and downloaded it and laughed myself sick.
"Oh Stewardess, I speak jive."

I heard about it over at Satellite News, but I have to confess that I didn't visit the site all that often.  Because of that I, I found RiffTrax later than I would have hoped (but quite a while ago, though I'm just really getting into the forums now).  Better late than never, though.  I love the new format, the new movies, and if I can say so without sparking a huge debate, the combo of Mike, Bill, and Kevin was always my favorite on MST3K.  There's even something satisfying about re-authoring the DVD's, but that might just be because of how much I enjoy the end product.

Let's see...I heard about it from youtube. At the time, I was browsing old MST3k clips. I definitely got into MST3k in the later years, when it was already gone and just being re-aired on Sci-Fi, so youtube can be blamed almost exclusively for my obsession. But, I digress. I saw a Rifftrax clip show up on the list and decided to humor it, thinking it was some Mistie trying to do their MST3k. As soon as I heard Mike crack a joke, google brought me here.

Best stumble ever :D

The Lady Rommel

I first hear about Rifftrax a bit over a year ago from the MST3k website.  I wanted to try it, but I don't have a computer at home, and didn't have an ipod at the time.

When Shorts Vol. 1 came out on DVD, I got that one...and loved it.  I've got all the other DVDs since (wish they could realease more).  Then when I got my ipod I started downloading.  Have only downloaded three so far.
I don't see race.  People tell me I'm white and I believe them because I watch Antiques Roadshow.

I accidentaly clicked a banner (Probabbly a google add) on www.trekmovie.com years ago, which led me to the MST3K website, which then played a short video which made me fall in love with the concept.

Investigating on Wikipedia, I found about Cinematic Titanic, The film Crew and Riftrax.

Thieving Magpie

I heard about it at SD Comic Con 2007 when the guys were there promoting their Film Crew DVDs. The next year they did a live show during con, riffing Plan 9 and that sold me. Next thing you know I'm downloading The Empire Strikes Back and never looked back.

I was jonzing for some MST a few months ago and decided to look up some clips on YouTube.  I eventually came across the "Best of Twilight" Rifftrax video. I couldn't believe what I was seeing. After squealing with joy, I checked out a few other "best of" clips and then finally checked out this site.  I've been downloading, donating and syncing my own riffs ever since  :)

My super amazing, wonderful, handsome and brilliant fiance got me watching MST3K on DVD. I love it. I love everything about it. I like that the spirit of fun is kept alive by rifftrax and the people posting on these forums.

I was a huge MST3K fan in the 90s.  When the show got canceled I didn't know what the guys were up to.  Then a couple years ago I stumbled upon some Best of Rifftrax on YouTube, and got hooked. ;D

Well, I remember I introduced my friend to MST3K years ago... then he showed me Film Crew... Then I think we both somehow heard about Rifftrax.  I don't really know how.  I think word of mouth is probably how most people hear it.

My lil sis got me 2 dvds for christmass.  Plus i've been an mst3k fan since it aired and watched past episodes sometimes and have most of the volumes from mst3k.

I guess I'm in "other." I was a big fan of MST3k starting right before Mike took over. Then my brother asks me a couple of years ago if I'd heard any Rifftrax yet and started to play the Matrix riff for me. So, here I am.
