We're told that the film is about the government who has trained dinosaurs to carry weapons and use them for battle purposes.

So, the first sequel had Chaos Guy as the hero,  the second one had Kid Hater, the third one will apparently have The Female.

JPV- The Kids will return to the island, all grown up.

JPVI- Lawyer, now a cyborg returns to the island to get his head surgically attached to a T Rex body. ("Once, I was but a lawyer in ugly shorts, but soon- I WILL BE A GOD!")

JPVII- Fat Guy, now a blind ninja master, returns to the island to seek redemption.

JPVIII- Zombie Hammond's revenge.
