Why did the guy wait until now to file?  The movie has been out over a year, would have been pretty hard not to see that title somewhere in over a year, if someone ripped me off verbatim I would have been ready with my case right after the trailers started showing up in 2015....

There's probably been talks in the background, suing wouldn't be the first response (of the sane at least).

It made a profit pretty quickly.  But I guess if he is suing for a fixed amount and not a percentage then it would make sense to wait until it's mostly done making money.

Sounds kind of hopefull. I know I'm hoping they resolve things. If not I'll be out of work in a couple months when they run out of scripts. My wife also just got into the WGA. She's not too happy about striking right after she got in.
