My thinking for this: Back when Steve Smith became a 'toxic' player for the Carolina Panthers, our GM Dave Gettlemen is no fan of toxic players no matter how good they are because of that 'toxicity' spreading to other players so he cut him loose so I expect the Panthers to go after another Josh Norman in the draft

I guess time will tell if this turns out to be a good deal, the Eagles gave up a whole lot of future picks just to get #2 this year.  The quarterback they are looking at better be a hell of an athlete.........

I read somewhere that history has shown that this kind of trade usually doesn't work out for the new #1 (#2) teams as they usually give up too much and their top draft pick doesn't work out like they had hoped..
Yeah this will be interesting to see how things turn out as time goes on
