Yeah, but we're just talking about the films themselves.

Your poll question is misleading, then:

Out of all the rifftrax so far, which one was the most painful to watch?

Dang, where's the love* for Troll 2?

* By "love," I mean "blinding, seething hatred."

I have not seen Glitter yet, but I am sure that Troll2 is a better film than Glitter.

Troll 2 is like Plan 9 From Outerspace.  It's horrifically awful, but pitiful at the same time.  It's like a three legged, mange covered puppy in the rain.  You can't help but feel sorry for it.

Wicker Man, on the other hand, should have known better and needs to be put to sleep before it craps all over the carpet again.

Wicker man was the most painful for me, with Firewall in second. Everyone in that movie was simultaneously the most annoying person I've ever watched. And of course the only person who I actually felt mildly bad for, Nicholas Cage, well, we know what happens to him. Add a lot of logic holes, plot red herrings, unresolved loose ends, and pointless graphic violence visited on innocent people, and what you have is pure, pure pain.

I'd rather watch Crossroads 3 more times than Wicker Man once.

Hobbit

While I think the rifftrax is hilarious, I would rather watch Michael Moore screwing Rosie O'Donnell than watch that movie without the riffs.  It's almost 2 hours of nothing but poorly thought out red herring with a poor imitation of a Shyamalan twist at the end.  It sucks donkey balls.

Troll 2. To my mind, nothing else even comes close to the searing, soul-destroying pain of that one.

Raven

My vote went to Phantom Menace.  I hate all three of the prequels just for the fact that the ruin the best moments from the original trilogy.  And the only good thing that came from Jar Jar was the Jackovosaur episode of South Park.  Troll 2 was expected to be that bad, I'd already developed an immunity to Battlefield Earth by forcing friend after friend to watch it prior to the rifftrax release and as far as Crossroads, chick flicks are part of the deal when dating someone and it wasn't nearly as bad as those lucas abominations.

Chaos

Personally, I have to go for Battlefield Earth.

While the gang's commentary had me in tears and gasping desperately for enough breath to stay concious roughly 60% of the time, the mindnumbing death that was the movie itself made it way too hard to sit through the other 40%.

That being said, I haven't actually seen Glitter yet.

Frankly, I'm embarrassed (for you'all) that Crossroads isn't winning this poll

... did you'all see the same movie that I did!!?

sarcasm_made_Easy

oh EASILY wickerman.  logic holes, terrible terrible acting, inane drab boring conversation, a plot that went no where, and 2 hours of meandering.  i hatessss it.

crossroads i found highly funny.  the movie didnt bother me ANYwhere as much as wickerman did, and i dont think anything will for a long long time.

But Wikerman had Nick Cage in a bear costume running around punching women, surly that gives the movie more merits than a Britney Spears movie about karaoke bars and female bonding? Wicker Man reminded me of island of dr. M because I was able to laugh at certain parts sans riff... Crossroads lacks this type of 'bad movie' charm in my opinion.

sarcasm_made_Easy

minnisota do you normally like chick flicks?  becuase if no then i can see your problem but for me crossroads was a better film than wickerman hands down.  a better riff too.

Minnesota

I like romantic comedies if they're good...

that said, crossroads is basically a generic Lifetime movie, not that I mean to imply that you're defending Crossroads, just can you or anyone else name one Lifetime movie that was ever good / watchable?
