Most Painful Rifftrax Movie To Watch Poll

I'm also going Wicker Man. I had heard it was bad... but my god. I think it easily would be the most painful one to get through with or without riffing. When it comes to stuff like BE or Troll 2 or Crossroads... well, I can accept those movies for what they are. For instance, I knew Troll 2 was going to be an incredibly incompetent grade Z stinkbomb... I was braced for impact from the moment I hit play on the DVD remote.

Like I said, I had heard Wicker Man was bad... but I just wasn't prepared for what I witnessed. I got a good amount of laughs from the Rifftrax, but the whole thing felt uneasy. It was like that feeling you get when you wake up after a night of drinking way too much. You have that weird guilty feeling that you did something really stupid the night before... but you can't put a finger on it. That's how I felt the entire time watching Wicker Man... weird... uneasy... guilty... sad... just a horrid movie.

Just to be clear: does the track make BE entertaining at least? My friends and I were considering getting it, but I'd rather not if the riffs don't even really save it. I mean, I thought ST6 was boring and that the riffs, while great at times, didn't help much. There were times I felt the same way about Wickerman as well.

Personally, I wouldn't say the riffs redeem Battlefield Earth. I would say that it's made more bearable but I didn't get a ton of laugh out loud moments from it. I enjoyed the viewing and everything, but I didn't think it was a top-tier performer overall. If you didn't think ST6 was worth watching with riffs, then you might want to avoid BE... altho it's probably worth one shot just for the great Disembaudio gag.

Alright, thanks for the tip! I see all these people saying how bad BE and Crossroads are, but to me BE looked great just because how stupid the filmed looked and I had heard great things about the Crossroads riff. However, I'd rather buy riffs that are better enjoyed I think. Thanks again!

Wicker Man wasn't technically the WORST movie, but it hurt me in ways that require a doll to talk about.

Now, honey, show me on the doll where the bad movie touched you...

EDIT: Now that I've thought about it, the above is also my latest entry in the RiffTrax slogan thread.
"All I ask of you is one thing: please don't be cynical. I hate cynicism -- it's my least favorite quality and it doesn't lead anywhere.
Nobody in life gets exactly what they thought they were going to get. But if you work really hard and you're kind, amazing things will happen."

I've found it tough to watch the longer movies in one sitting, but apart from those... Cocktail has only one redeeming feature - Elisabeth Shue - while Wicker Man has none.

The Grudge for me. It wasn't because I was scared, it was because the sound effects got to me after a while.
It was that moaning/groaning/squeal that got to me.

The other really bad ones were so bad, that they were entertaining to watch.

SecretAgentSuperDragon

I added the option for Glitter, and you are able to retract your vote.

Yet another rifftrax I doubt I'll see because neither I nor my friends have the courage to be seen renting/buying this movie...or even watch it. Oh well, the chance to mock Spears and Carey may be a big enough draw to one day get "Crossroads" and "Glitter".

Reign of Fire was the most painful because (1) the movie sucked terribly and (2) the rifftrax was mediocre at best. Of all of the ones that I've viewed (most of them), this is the only one that I can say that about. And this may be the only one that I never watch again.

/Loved Crossroads, by the way. Great rifftrax made it easy as pie to watch. And Wicker Man was painful, but rifftrax made it bearable.

Oh, yeah. I almost forgot about Dr. Moreau. I'll put that as a close second behind Reign of Fire as most painful (for the same reasons).

SecretAgentSuperDragon

Yeah, but we're just talking about the films themselves.

Ortega

Aeon Flux was the most painful movie so far.........the bad logan's run storyline, the inexpliciable anatomical bluetooth devices(does your spinal column double as a cell phone?).  the fact that some of the actors are capable of far better work.......the matrixy soundtrack......the rifftrax made this bearable.........just bearable........

Principal_Skin-trade

oh... attack of the clones most definitely. Battlefield earth is a close second but at least I can see that movie as a silly fly-by-night crapfest. I had expectations when I first saw AOTC and they were all dreadfuly unmet on all possible levels. Worst of all... it goes on and on for 2 and a half hours!!! That movie is undeniably painful.

I had to go for Top Gun,as much as I am interested in aircraft it just bores me to death. With the stupid so called Russian fighters that are really aging F-5s,the jingoism (sorry guys,I feel the same about English movies so I'm not anti USA),it's just so repetitive. And the endless loud music every couple of minutes,I have a deep rooted hatred of loud music in films anyway.Plus of course Tom Cruise.
I think the Star Trek movies are incredibly boring as well but at least they are not repeating the whole, short, plot throughout the movie. Not keen on any "super hero" movies either,so I must be the only one hoping they don't do Batman & Robin.
More sci-fi movies and some horror for me please.
