So how about it. Battlefield Earth? Reign of Fire? Roadhouse? Crossroads? Troll II?

It was B.E. for a while for me, but I finally bit the bullet and watched Crossroads... and I had to stop the movie at the 42 minute mark it hurt soooooooooooooooooooooooo bad. It has overtaken my current most painful thing to watch: The Gorn Fight.

Bob

OMG, the Gorn fight.   Such realism.   Makes Jet Li's moves look like kid stuff.   Just brillaint.

Movies that are just laughable bad like Battlefield and Troll are really easy for me to handle.   The hardest for me is overly serious Sci-Fi films.   I loved Aeon Flux, but if I had to watch that un-riffed, the drool would start and I would be passed out cold.

Just Some Guy

The pain from Eragon is fresh so I couldn't vote for it though I think it ranks up there among the greats.  Instead I went with Wicker Man for its perversion of a classic and Nick Cage content.

I think mine was Star Trek 6. Talk about boring....whew. After that I'll vote Wickerman as second.

Personally I LIKED the Gorn scene.  Blaahthughaaahh thlllbppt! I have been sklkk listening hthhhh to every word you say!

I thought that Troll 2 was the first time I experienced real sharp bad movie pain. I've known the soul-sucking voidness of Coleman Francis, and I've known the gut-wrenching revulsion of Hobgoblins, but never the intense, shocking agony of Troll 2. I think I built up this mental expectation while reading reviews of it that made it seem more campy and light and less...Don Corasceli.

For sheer let-down-ing ness though, Wickerman would be high. How much of a let down? I originally intended to see it in theaters. I was expecting a lot more than I got.

I must confess that I have not yet seen "crossroads"

Trust me, as soon as you see it, you're gonna have to change your vote. It's bad.      Really bad.

Belive it or not, Top Gun was mine. I oculdn't get all the way through it, sad to say. Course, I haven't seen Trolls 2, and I would not risk being seen renting Crossroads, even if I wore a fake beard and an overcoat.
Mainly because you can't rent from either blockbuster or the library without them figuring out your name from the card.
Also because I normally wear an overcoat.

I'd have to say Wicker Man... what a miserable experience. Made that much more frustrating by a certain dirty old pagan, who I know is out there somewhere... he knows who he is.

Daredevil was pretty uncomfortable too. The dialogue was like having drywall screws drilled into your head with each line. The only safe way to watch Daredevil is to do it with a blindfold on and headphones blaring something loud.

My library has an automated checkout, so that is how I was able to get away w/ Crossroads. And yes, I burnt it. I am not giving that film one red cent of my money. They can shove it!

No, I won't kill him! You hear me!? You'll have to get your... entertainment somplace else!

Big Blonde

I voted for BE, just cause it took me two times watch and even then I stopped paying attention at the end. I guess Wickerman is close second, but luckily the group of people I watched it with saved me from my head exploding, like it nearly did when I watched BE.

Pak-Man

Wicker Man wasn't technically the WORST movie, but it hurt me in ways that require a doll to talk about. For all the mind-blowing logic holes in Battlefield Earth, and horrible, horrible acting in Troll 2, I just can't escape the painful web that Wicker Man wove. It's like it came up with an intricate plot for the movie that seems like it must have been awesome and deep and meaningful, and then they didn't tell the audience about it. We're left trying to figure out what makes the movie good, and we can't figure it out because the movie's not any good. Yet, even knowing this, the brain won't let it go and continues to try to figure out what you're missing.
