By the way, while we're discussing video cards, I've been thinking of adding a decent video card to my home entertainment computer..
I use it mostly for watching movies backed up on my hard drive but do some gaming on it.
If someone has a decent video card they are looking to get rid of that is good for gaming as well, I might be interested if the price is right.. Funds are really tight these days for monthly bills but again if the price was right, I may purchase it. :-\

Looking for something 16x PCIe w/ DDR3 RAM decent gaming capabilities

Its a 2 level case; mobo on the bottom and the hard drives, disc drives, and power supply on the top level..
I should be able to fit a full size video card without it hitting the upper level.

I have a r9 280x that's in good condition that I'm looking to sell. It's kind of big though. I'll post the dimensions tomorrow night, see if it would fit. Also, how big is your PSU?  It doesn't need anything crazy, but it does draw some power.

I just got my Fractal Design Define R5 case in the mail and holy crap, I've never seen such a nice case. The case itself is actually heavier than my assembled system which is ridiculous. The majority of the weight comes from the sound proofing material. I can't wait to build in it and I can already tell I can highly recommend this case.

Very curious to see how well it vents.

That was my main concern but I have read many reviews and everyone loves it. Lots of people use theses for water cooling and SLI configurations. Also after looking at it in person the venting makes perfect sense.

Computer has a bunch of errors and things related to my partition.  Crashes sometimes.  Tells me the recycling bin on G is corrupted and needs to be emptied every time I start up my computer.  I'm just hoping it hold out another month until windows 10 is released where I'll wipe this hard drive and do a fresh install.

I thought you were already running Windows 10 on your primary system.

I kind of hoped to jump into windows 10 as soon as I finished my rebuild. I got a Win 8.1 key (it was cheaper than 7) and I planned to get the free upgrade as soon as I installed it.

I was, but NVIDIA has only released one set of drivers for the tech preview of windows 10, and they don't have the Witcher 3 optimizations that I needed, so I went back to using windows 7.  Plus, there's some weird shit going on with my windows 10 partition, I think due to the fact that I used a work around to allow windows to partition my C drive.  But that'll all be fixed when I format this drive and merge the partitions again.

Kind of bummed to hear that. Looks like I'm going with windows 8.1 for a while. I actually don't hate Windows 8 so it's not that big of a deal. For the most part I just find Windows 8 to be slightly inconvenient.

I'm 90% sure that NVIDIA will release more current windows 10 drivers once windows 10 is officially released.  They just aren't updating them because there's only a tiny few who are using the windows 10 technical preview.  I wouldn't worry about it.  NVIDIA is pretty good with day 1 updates for games, and I can only assume it'll be the same for the new OS.

I apologize I never got back with you on that video card VoC but it sounds like it might have been too tall and I wound up getting a GeForce GT 740 4GB GDDR5 from Amazon for $120 free 2-day shipping.

The reviews were really good compared to others running between $200-$300 dollars with less RAM and/or GDDR RAM.. and it fit perfect in my case! Look you can tell.. 8)
