Yeah, where'd the flags go?
I mean... how else will i know which of you foreign weirdos to ignore?

Seriously though, bring back the flags~

Minnesota

I'd rather have states, no offence to the foreign folk

Nunyerbiz

You'd rather have state flags and your handle is a state name? Between you and those pesky Twins visiting Detroit 10 times a year or whatever... I get all the Minnesota I need. :)

Anyways, I never cared much for post counts or the associated ranks for your e-Weiner. I really don't care if they stay or if they go... but I voted for getting rid of them. Yes, I know the subject probably doesn't have legs with the admins anymore... but oh well. I've seen at least a couple of posts referencing somebodies accomplishments with post count and that at least a couple too many.

Minnesota

Well in my defense I chose the handle "Minnesota" so people could know where I'm from. I would've chosen a different handle had the forum used a location statistic. Not really a big deal, just one more thing to spark conversation amongst roundtable members.

Apologies for my states over saturation, (my sig must really bug you Nunyerbiz ;)  Go Twins!!  8))

Good song.  But me?  I'm looking New Jersey and feeling...  New Orleans, right after Katrina... Damn vodka.

Ah, Soundgarden . . . great stuff. I live in Texas, but I wouldn't dare go by "Tex". Not that I'd be offended by it, I just don't think that I'm your typical (or stereotypical) "bigger is better", redneck Texan.

As for the original topic of the thread - I don't really care about the actual count as long as the titles stay.

I would possibly go with the State flags as well..
I chose Gibralter as my country for Sh*t's and Giggles, and because I've actually been there.. Awsome Place!!
Then again, would I really want to let the world know I live in South 'Cakalakie' Carolina?? Hmm..
As for the Post Count, I like them because it identifies who the 'veterans' are here, and who are new to the forum.

And you must give us veterans our proper respect. Many of us gave our lives for your right to make fun of movies.

Not all veterans have high post counts...

I like the "Registered Date" or "Joined Date" or "Member Since.... " concept better myself.

Maybe I'm an idiot, and I missed this in my half assed search for a post about it, but has it been changed so that we can no longer see our own post count, but everyone else's?

If so, and this has been posted before, I think it's a great idea, and here's some more support for it.  If not, and I just experienced some sort of error, then it's something that should be considered.

EDIT:  Apparently it was just some sort of error, because I can see my post count again.  But it made sense.  That way people don't just post to boost their post count, but you can still see who's posted a lot and who's a newb.  But I haven't noticed much post count boosting, so maybe it's not necessary.

Yeah I think it's settled down now, for the most part.
