When I tried that rejig added like a minute and a half onto the beginning of the movie audio? Maybe I'll try it again.

I didn't let ReJig correct the audio. Then used Ac3 Delay Corrector to add 200ms to the beginning of the audio.

I know. For some reason, when i didn't have ReJig correct the audio, there was like a minute and a half of silence at the beginning of the movie audio, before the lion's roar. I did it twice and both times it happened. It makes no sense.

That is nuts. Did you rip the DVD with Ripit4me? Is it a NTSC disc?

jasimon1

Yep, ripped with Ripit4Me and NTSC version. I'll try what you suggested. Thanks!

...

You know... there are a million reasons why this DVD has been such a huge success, including it's availabilty on BluRay and HD. But i really think that this new encryption found on Casino Royale is a big part of why this film has become one of the best selling DVDs of the year. Dontcha' think? Maybe?

No, because only 1 person has to rip something for it to be widely spread online.

OK, here's my sad story:

I used Ripit4me and ripped the entire movie.  Since I am only familiar with the files after using the Decrypter, I used DVD Shrink to burn the movie on a DVD.  I then took the DVD, used Decrypt and went through the normal process.  After creating the rifftrax disk, I noticed that the movie was not synched up with the sound.

I have noticed others having that problem on the forum, but was unclear about some of the methods to correct it (like what is Rejig).  Should I be going about this a different way?  Thanks for any assistance.

If you still have the DVD ripped to your HD with Ripit4me, then download ReJig.
Open ReJig and go to IFO mode. Click the Add button and search for the IFO in your ripped Casino Royale that has the main title. I think its the second one. Check off demux video and uncheck correct AC3 delay. Also in the Streams window, make sure the main video is selected (should be checked by default) and the first audio track is selected. Choose a destination to save to (preferably a different hard drive on a separate IDE for fastest rip).

You will need to add 192ms to the start. If you need help with that, let me know?

Thanks for the quick response.  I'll be trying this tonight.  And by the way, great DVD Covers.  Keep up the good work.

I did mine exactly like SuperAgentSuperDragon did:

DVD FAB to Hard drive
DVD Shrink to ISO
NERO IMAGE DRIVE and mounted the ISO

I then deviated from his method and used
DVD DECRYPTER to get the M2V file and AC3 file.
The resulting AC3 had a delay of 211ms. I used AC3 Delay Corrector 2.1 to fix the delay.

I then mixed my audio as normal made my dvd and used DVD Shrink to shrink the final DVD to DVD-5. I tested everything along the way and everything was in sync. My final disc was also in sync at the end and I checked it on a couple of different players.

I'm going to brag a little and say that I didn't have any problems with this disc.  RipIt4Me produced a valid DVD layout containing 7 titlesets (as it did when I originally backed up this film).  From there I proceeded as normal.  PGCDemux reported no audio delay for me either.  Nothing exciting here, which is good news for me I suppose.

i used AnyDvd to be able to convert the dvd with dvd2one to be able to fit on a regular disk. Then used Ripit4me and it ripped it fine, but when removing the tilesets, it crashed. But, it seemed to work anyways with all the vobs still intact.

Yep, Ripit4me worked perfectly fine too and I produced a reauthored version with no sync issues.

I think people are getting sync issues because of the copy protection on the DVD. That is what first made my spidy senses tingle when I was trying to "back up" Dead Mans Chest a while back and which lead me to find Ripit4me.

Ripit4me rules, thanks again for finding it gammer

I used ripit4me to get the movie, and then I was trying to use rejig and so far the ifo modo is not working at all.  I do what gammer has said and all that happens is that it says "demuxing streams" for about 3 seconds and then stops.  I check my output folder and there are the basically empty files that were "created."  Any way I can fix this?

peiz11

Ok well I ended up ripping the movie from DVD fab and then used rejig to get the ac3 files and such.  Then I used delaycut to fix the delay, px3convert to make it a wav file.  I put it into audacity and seemed synced up well until I notice that at the end the movie ends and the riff goes on for another 8 minutes.  I don't know what happened.  All except the last disembodio line was synced perfectly.  I notice the movie audio is only 2:10 which is shorter than the movie is so I'm guessing that's where the problem is but I don't know where it went wrong.  Any ideas?  Thanks!
