I missed Sharknado....

Recently, my wife's 86 year old father had to move in with us, because her brother, where the father was living, lost his house... stupid bastard!

Well, all was going well, we locked him up in my TV room and threw him food and peaked in on him from time to time.

On Sharknado Day, the stupid fuck fell down. Right away, my wife is all like, "We have to take him to hospital!!! He could have internal injuries..."

I was like, "But... Sharknado! I mean, he's 86 years old, how much more life should he get, for Christ's sake! The greedy bastard!"

Linda, after she was through punching me in the groin area, said, "I am taking my father to the hospital! I want to make sure he doesn't have a subdural hematoma..." (Thanks, the "House" TV show!).

I was like, "Well, you know, I can still go to Sharknado, right? I mean, he's not MY father.... and shits..."

After I recovered from the repeated ball punching that my wife inflicted upon me, I said, "Right! Let's get to the hospital!" and so, I missed Sharknado.

BTW, the fuckin' jerk was fine as we were told after a four hour wait in the ER!

Also, BTW, we treat him like a king, and I made sure his room was totally cabled up so that he could watch the Wold Cup in Spanish and I cue up his boxing matches on the HBO and cook his meals. This was a joke, but he really did fall down, and we took him to the hospital, and so I missed Sharknado.... but I will try to get to the encore next Tuesday. Althogh I don't like to leave him alone....

OH, but to make up for it, I bought like 30 bucks worth of Rifftrax VOD's, so...Including "Swamp of the Ravens" whew! Hilarious, but one of the most fucked up movies I ever saw. And that includes the entire MST3K catalogue!

I'm not sure what to do with it either, Trekker. Believe me... This 86 year old mummy was dropped in my lap.

Suddenly, because my wife's brother can't figure out how to pay his bills, I have to pick up the slack!
