Had some time to read this weekend, I'm a little more than half way through, it's long but doesn't feel bloated, packed with interesting stuff so far.

Damn you, I was only going to read until midnight, here it is 3am.  Book 4 done....

I enjoyed it, good of a mix of world building (or I guess history/backstory building) and action.  With a pinch of character development here and there.

Oh, and nice job with the big battle, when I saw the number of pages in the book I was afraid the battle would be too much of it, but it was just right.

I just put it out yesterday and man has it been a long time coming. I first thought of the way I wanted to end the series about ten years ago and it has been torturous getting to the point where I could finally write it down.

It is also a milestone because it is my first book to be released as a full time writer. I quit my previous day job August 20th so that I could get the book finished by the end of September so it is exciting and scary at the same time.

Bought it when it came out but finally started reading it yesterday, and because they kept pushing the time my car would be finished with the idiotic "repairs" needed for it to pass state inspection I read for about 8 hours.

So, got about half way though it.  Liking it just as much as the others.  Got to try and finish it over the weekend.

The latest book has been doing really well. The release increased interest in the others as well and all five books have been in the top 100 in epic fantasy for three weeks straight!

It's crazy because I am moving today. My wife and I bought a farm down in Tennessee to be closer to my family. I finished the book and edited it at the last minute while my wife did most of the packing. Now we're loading the truck and I'm packing my computer away.

Currently it is ranked #22 in Action Adventure Fantasy and #53 in overall Epic Fantasy. See you in a week or so after my internet is set back up!

I just wrote a post on my blog today about a reader in Germany whose daughter wanted to translate the prologue of my first book into German for her school newspaper. He sent me the finished translation and it looks great. Is there anyone here who knows German that can tell me how good the translation is?
