All that being said, though, RFT still DOES occupy some pretty important and fun places that nobody else can really fill. And it's not like their Oz riff will be going away. Multiple riffs of the same movie are all over the place and they all have their own identity and are independent of one another. This may sound like I'm totally reversing the position I took less than 5 minutes ago, but that's never stopped me before.

In this same vein, I gotta say that I feel kinda bad for Ronin Fox Trax right now. The Oz riff is probably the best iRiff I've consumed, and now it will be overshadowed.

I think it can do nothing but help it. It's been out long enough that anyone was going to pick it up on their own had probably done it, now it will likely drive some sales.
FINE

Heh. The Wizard of Oz DVD is 6.66 gigs.  >:D

For real? Mine is only 1G.

Also. Urban Legends? I'm sure they exist and I just don't know about them, but really. What the hell? A munchkin hung himself? This is the kinda thing that has me looking at Wikipedia for hours on end despite their complete lack of credibility. It's a sickness on my part, really. I blame the Internet for all my shortcomings.

I got the 70th anniversary 2-Disc one, and that's what it says when I play it on the computer.

Those urban legends have been around for many decades, I remember hearing about the munchkin hanging thing back in the 70s.  A lot of them get wiped out watching in HD where you can see what stuff really is, it was easy to say something in the background was a hanging munchkin when the only way to see the movie was a blurry low-res TV broadcast.  In HD you can clearly see it's a bird in the background.

MrTorso

On the higher resolution of Laser disc you could see that it was the bird.

Nobody

My reauthor will have three audio tracks.  Official Rifftrax, Ronin Fox's iRiff, and, of course, Dark Side of the Moon.

Somebody please say I wasn't the only one who watched this last night.

MrTorso

I watched it last night! I enjoyed it a lot. Quite a few laugh out loud moments for me.

But do the guys have the guts to followup and riff "Return to Oz", the scariest movie ever made?

True
Worked on me, and I bought the DVD today. kinda disappointed that the Blu Ray doesn't come with a copy of the DVD, since I don't know how to reauthor Blu.
