The prices, of course, will ultimately fall. But they've GOT to get the motion issues sorted out.
"All I ask of you is one thing: please don't be cynical. I hate cynicism -- it's my least favorite quality and it doesn't lead anywhere.
Nobody in life gets exactly what they thought they were going to get. But if you work really hard and you're kind, amazing things will happen."

I Love the 80" VIZIO Razor LEDâ„¢ 1080p 240Hz Smart TV with Theater 3D Model # M801D-A3 on display at our local Sam's Club, but $3288 (Now $3698.00) is still waaayyy too much money..
I took measurements in my living room and I can fit up to a 90 inch (from room corner to front door) so I think that will be my next goal-when the price drops to around $2000 or less 8)

MartyS (Gromit)

Couldn't load that page but a search of the topic lead to the points he made.

I love the: "but OLED uses more power when you display an all white screen!", the real question should be what is the average power consumption?  Of course it will use more than a side lit LCD when every pixel is turned to max to display a white screen, but how often does that happen in real use?

A lot of his points sound awfully similar to stuff that was said about LCDs when they were new...  The next few years will tell if OLED can become the LCD replacement.  Or remain a high end only alternative.

Just checked Sam's Club and that 80 inch Vizio HDTV I was drooling over last year has dropped below $3000 to $2948 :o
Maybe next year it will be in my price range 8)
