This is the stinger I chose.  I think it would be wrong to use any of Gene Wilder's stuff for a stinger, because his lines are some of the best in the movie.  I reserve my stingers for the dumbest stuff in the movie, and this mic eating thing takes the cake for me.

I think that stingers aren't the worst moments in the movie, they're the most unintentionally humorous, unusual, or inexplicable.

Bad acting ahoy! It's highly likely that this scene is used in acting schools in order to demonstrate to members of the class what not to do with their performances.

ok im intentionally opening a can of rancid worms but i gots to know, why was that bad acting?  he was angry and frustrated he seems to have CLEARLY demonstrated it.

Well, there's angry, and there's WAY OVER THE TOP! And Wilder's performance in Wonka is of the latter, I'm afraid.
