Well Fuck
I wanted to see Manning beat the Colts in Indy :grr:

Raven

I'll respond to that by saying this.  I hated John Elway.  I hate that he was the original "Don't draft me or I'll go play baseball.  I wanna play for the [team x]" BS back in the day .  I hated Peyton Manning because watching him call plays at the line of scrimmage was boring as all hell coupled with how well they would do on a year in, year out basis just irritated me like nails on a chalkboard.  Then by there powers combined, they sent that talentless, Kim Kardashian-esque, Jesus freak Tim Tebow out on his ass and I laughed and laughed.  He had no reason to be a first round pick, a starting quarterback or as popular as he was nationwide.  He wasn't responsible for even a third of the wins during Tebow Time that he got credit for and a huge portion of the country didn't notice.  I loved that John Elway said no thanks, signed Peyton and got rid of him.  I couldn't believe it, I was actually rooting for the Broncos last year.

Well, that was last year.  Now Tebow's outta the league entirely and seeing Peyton lose tonight was funny again.

Oh yeah, are we in another Priest Holmes like era for the Kansas City Chiefs where they start out with 10 or 11 wins in a row to start the season but still have absolutely no one fear them in the playoffs?

RVR II

I'm actually a Chiefs fan this year because of what Coach Andy Reid has done with the team but yeah I'm thinking the same thing.. They'll be knocked out in the playoffs :o

Oh Bob will love this :D :D

QuoteTim Tebow to St. Louis Rams discussed but unlikely

Published: Oct. 20, 2013 at 08:14 p.m. Updated: Oct. 21, 2013 at 12:41 a.m.

Desperate times call for desperate conversations. In St. Louis, that means the possibility of adding Tim Tebow to the roster.

A Rams source told NFL Media columnist Michael Silver on Sunday that the team has at least internally discussed the possibility of signing Tim Tebow, though it is highly unlikely it actually will happen.

St. Louis is in dire need of quarterback depth, however, as NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport reported Sunday night that Sam Bradford tore his ACL during the Rams' loss at Carolina, according to two sources informed of the situation.

The injury likely knocks Bradford out for the rest of the season. Rapoport reported that the Rams are expected to work out several quarterbacks on Monday.

A little Tebow talk shouldn't be a complete shock. The Rams were one of the teams that inquired about trading for Tebow in 2012 before the Denver Broncos dealt him to the New York Jets.

Kellen Clemens is the Rams' backup, and no other quarterback is on the roster. They need to add someone to the mix, but we can't imagine them wanting to bring in Tebow unless he had a real chance to get on the field.

As Silver reported, it's highly unlikely Tebow will be signed. But the news is a reminder: Tebow's story, like a cockroach, never truly dies. It just hides in the corner, waiting for another chance.

Bob

That is a lie, they NEVER talked about Tebow

QuoteThe Rams called Brett Favre to gauge interest in return to NFL after losing QB Sam Bradford to injury.

Unfortunately, we will not see The Ol' Gunslinger on #MNF as he declined.
Damn! I would have loved to have seen him as a member of the Rams for a bit :o

More made up news by ESPN and other fake reports sports people.  They did not call him at all.

"League sources told the Post-Dispatch that the Rams mentioned Favre in passing in talks with agent Bus Cook about Austin Davis.

They didn't actively pursue Favre.

Besides being Favre's longtime agent, Cook also represents Davis, whom the Rams signed Tuesday as one of the replacements for the injured Sam Bradford. (The team also signed Brady Quinn.)"
